LOVED this flick, like going on a wild ride, the visual effects are awesome, the clarity, and all that IMAX 3D offers is outstanding, it was so real that when he was flying, I got a little nauseous, like being in a boat ride, cool, so cool, the whole family loved it.

When my wife and I saw this in IMAX 3D we couldn't help but notice that the previews we had previously seen on TV and in theaters did not do it justice. The 3D animation was so life-like it was breath-taking. It was an excellent adaptation of the original book. It certainly is not for little children. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this movie. It is destined to be a holiday classic.

Mr. Zemeckis puts an amazing twist on an already incredible story! The 3-D addition makes you feel as if your in the movie. Plus the huge glasses are such a fashion statement ;) On an important note, please please please don't take really young children to this movie...as there are some scary scenes in this film.

The movie was very well done. The graphics were amazing and the IMAX 3D experience made it even better.Disney stayed true to the story and to the "language" of this Dicken's classic. It certainly made for a more authentic experience that is sure to be a classic. However, I will say that for children seeing the movie it may be hard at times to keep up with the discussions that take place. My children are 11 and 8 so, they were not scared. But, we did hear a few screams from younger audience members. Probably better for adults and kids over 5 or 6. And parents should prep younger kids on the story so they can follow along easier.

I saw this movie in Imax 3-D. Immediately I was in awe of the experience! It was as if I was in the middle of everything. Jim Carey is perfect in the roles he plays. The graphics are so real. The plot is true to the Dickens story, and should touch your heart with its still timely message. Some scenes are a bit too scary for young children, so parents should beware. I loved this film and plan to see it again closer to Christmas. It really got me in the holiday mood.

I completely agree with other reviewers - the graphics were amazing! This is a very well-done update of a traditional family classic. Young children may be a bit scared by a few scenes/characters. I saw this in iMax 3D & would recommend you do, too!

This was my family's first time experiencing IMAX 3D. The experience was engaging and so life like. It felt as though you were in the movie. I took my young kids, ages 5 and 8 and it was a little scary for them. They did enjoy it but I would recommend an older audience. Overall, I loved the movie and the 3D experience, you can't beat it. I would definitely see this movie again. Great additions to the already wonderful plot.

The graphics were amazing, very sophisticated. It was a little darker than I expected it to be, my 10 yr old autistic son was a little scared. I however enjoyed it thoroughly and highly recommend it to older children/teenagers and adults.

Disney did a great job interpreting the book. The characters were very well done. Kudos to everyone involved in the making of the movie. Worth the drive, worth the extra cost, worth the time. We are doing it again with our daughter and a friend.
I never saw a commercial movie in IMAX before this one. I had become bored with the whole "going to the movies" experience. This movie changed my mind. I will definitely see more movies - in 3D at an IMAX.

I really enjoyed the movie it was all that I expected it to be. I usually do not got to Christmas Carol anything anymore because it is so old, but thought I'd give Jim Carrey a try, he is, as usual, excellent. I love the characters as caricatures but also real people like especially through the eyes. I wasn't really ready for the ending when it came, even though you know it is up. I recommend you go just for all the 3D fun and the scary ghosts.

I thought the graphics were great, the acting was great and the IMAX 3-D was as impressive as ever. The story followed the original story, which was great, but led to a lot of questions on what the heck they were saying for my 7 year old. I spent a lot of the movie translating and reassuring him that it was going to be ok, which is always frustrating as a parent. Also, not sure why, but sometimes IMAX films are done in such a way that it makes me feeling seasick. This was one of those films. About 3/4 of the way in I had to take my glasses off. If you're someone who experiences that also, I don't recommend seeing this film. My 10 year old loved it. He had read the book recently and was delighted how faithful the adaptation was.

I saw the train Disney ran accross the country with the behind scenes when it came through California earlier in the year and a short clip, which I thought was very good. The IMAX version of the movie was incredible with the effects seeming like you were right there in the movie. All in all it was one of the best versions of Dickens story that I've seen so far. My only warning would be to people with young children who would be frightened easily.

This was the greatest way to introduce my children (ages 4-15) to all alltime classic and one of my favorites. Although some parts were a little scary for my youngest, he also laughed out loud a lot. The animation is terrific, they stick to the story well while still making it understandable and entertaining for kids.

This film puts the viewer somewhere between the animated world and real life. Sometimes you forget it is animated, the graphics are that good. It is Dickens, so younger kids might have a little trouble following the story. Also there are scenes that could scare kids 8 and under.

I absolutely loved this movie. The graphics were awesome however I wouldn't recommend this movie to young children. My granddaughter (6 yrs) was pretty frightened and she has seen the Harry Potter movies and was fine.

This was a terrific movie. The effects were phenomenal, I want to know how they do that!! It could be a bit scary for younger kids but our Grandchildren age 5 & 8 saw it and they were ok with it. It is a movie that all ages will love and it will be a classic for the Holidays from now on.

I must say I was expecting a good movie, but this blew me away. I saw it at IMAX and it felt like I was in the movie. This will be a classic for all time.

I was really impressed with the special effects, you felt like you were right there with Mr. Scrooge. I would not bring young children, less than eight years old, as there were some scary scenes which were scarier with 3-D. A great movie! Go see it!
