Great reissue of the classic story. IMAX 3D effects were excellent and made this moving worth going to. The story itself is true to the original and offers no surprises. May be a little too intense for pre-schoolers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have mixed feelings about this movie. On one hand, it was OK and reminded me of the earlier days of the X-Files TV show when they were always investigating some weird paranormal event not necessarily tied directly to alien abduction. But beyond that I found the movie lacking and without purpose. There were no surprises, no questions answered, no loose ends tied up. I found myself asking "Why did they release this now?" The story itself was OK, but nothing I couldn't have waited for the DVD to see. I wanted to believe, but found myself left as empty as I felt when I arrived.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
