We saw this in IMAX. It was incrediable on the hugh screen. A bit more romance and attempts at robot humor and Sam seems to have grown up a bit in the sequal. Well worth the money to see in IMAX.

I went to see this movie in IMAX and i have to say the CGI was AMAZING its the best i have ever seen however the storyline and the character development is just bad. Michael Bay spends half the movie using inappropriate references which were just unnecessary. Megan Fox was just used as eye candy the whole time. He also spent too much time using the twins who in my opinion should not have been in the movie at all.There is one character i wished he had used more and that was Sideswipe. Overall there were MANY things that could have been done better but if you really want to see this movie see it in IMAX.

The movie critics seem to forget that sometimes audiences go to movies to turn off their brains and enjoy the sounds and effects. I read numerous reviews saying how their were plot holes or how there were parts that were unrealistic. Let's see, parts that were unrealistic. Isn't this movie about robots that can transform? So why do you care if there is a part that doesn't seem realistic to you. If you are looking to go and be entertained, then go see this movie. If you are looking to go and find deep meanings and soulful endings, I suggest going to your nearest independant movie theater that shows movies that win the Oscars that nobody goes to see and we all say during the Oscar awards, "Was this even in the theaters?"

My family and I loved the movie. Great action, great affects and the new Transformers are funnier than expected. It was a great blend of everything. The only drawback, it has so much action you'd have to see it again...but that may not be such a drawback. Definitely, not for small children, lots of violence and profanity. GO SEE IT!!

They're criticiziing the "storyline". This is the Transformers pal. They are the story and they're done great. It even has a Terminator femme fatale thrown in for good measure along with a Gremlins in the kitchen piece.
The music tracks and action sounds drive the movie.
This thing is put together right. Some people just seem too old to know what kids imagination would like if it all came to life.

GO WATCH IT IN IMAX. its amazing parts as well and seeing it in imax is just breathetaking. when the screen gets big during the forest fight it is just jaw dropping, it totally sucks you in and it feels like you're right there. That forest fight in imax is probably one of the most awesome and just straight out badass things i have seen on film EVER. plus it's also longer than the theathrical cut. showing more fighting during that scene which just makes it even better and lets you soak it in even more, the imax scenes with devastator are also amazing, he looks so huge and the effects are so beautiful, the shots with him destroying the pyramids are just amazing.

I took my son to see this sequel as we really enjoyed the first movie. I was really bothered by the amount of unnecessary bad language and intimate human (it won't let me use the other word) references. The first movie was wonderful without any of these things and I'm sure this movie would have been fine without them as well.

Ok, the special effects were great (I saw it in iMax, too) and the action was non-stop. But the story was weak. Very weak. The characters were undeveloped and thrown together in improbable ways. I understand that this is a summer action movie, but don't insult moviegoers with such a disjointed and unbelievable chain of events. And the new robots were all stereotypical jive-talking clowns. Not good. Michael Bay may have jumped the shark when the small robot humped Megan Fox's leg. This movie will appeal to 14 year old boys who want to stare at Fox and see some action. The rest of us? Not so much.

I saw it in IMAX last night and it was great. it was in fact a squeal so don't expect a lot of new story. There was a lot of cheesey parts but they were well placed. It is exactly what it is, a movie about alien robots who kill each other. If you want anything more than that dont bother seeing.

My son and I watched this on an IMAX screen. It was a sound and sense extravaganza. Lots of action, the 2-1/2 hours went by like it was 5 minuites. It's always nice to have Megan Fox to look at too. For what it is, I thought it was a very good movie. Lots of action, good special effects. I agree with the other reviewers that sometimes it's hard to tell what's going on in some of the action scenes. The director might have gone a little too far with the "realistic" camera work. It was a good movie, I wouldn't say it was better then the first, but I wouldn't say it's terrible either. I enjoyed the cameo apperance of the new Chevy Corvette. Other then that, it was kinda long, I've seen the movie twice the only reason I made the trip the second time was to see it on IMAX, I wouldn't say it was worth it to see it a second time but it wasn't bad. It's a blockbuster no matter what I write, so go and watch it just because everyone else has and you should too!
