I took my son to see this sequel as we really enjoyed the first movie. I was really bothered by the amount of unnecessary bad language and intimate human (it won't let me use the other word) references. The first movie was wonderful without any of these things and I'm sure this movie would have been fine without them as well.
This is a beautiful movie about the lives of wild animals. There are some scenes that address the food chain, but they don't actually show any animals being eaten. These are things that we forget by living our suburban lives. If you have small children that you think cannot handle the idea of animals eating other animals, don't take them. I took it as an opportunity to discuss how animals survive in the wild. It's a great way to interact with your kids.
