The movie delivered exactly what was expected of it. Beautiful CGI and affects, with lot's and lot's of action. The plot, while not going to win any Oscars, was better than what I went in anticipating, moment's of humor, good pacing (minus a bit of a lag towards the end of act 2), and lots of little details that anyone who grew up watching the cartoons are going to appreciate. Saw it on IMAX and was completly blown away. Agree with the parents who said this isn't something you take kids to, but seeing as it's PG-13 I'd think that's to be expected.

I took my 5 year old boy and 7 year old girl. They enjoyed it for the most part, but there were some clothes hiked up high and lots of cleavage throughout the movie that really weren't necessary along with some language. The action was great and seeing it in IMAX is a must!

The movie was absolutely amazing. Stunning visual effects (thanks to ILM and DD), great score (thanks to Steve Jablonsky), and overall the greatest robot battle in the history of robot battles. I Rate the film a 4 star because the IMAX experience itself was horrible. The seats were cramped, the person in front of me kept on leaning too far back on his seat and kept hitting my knees. AND THEN, the jerk has the nerve to turn around and glare at me when i shifted my legs a little to get more comfortable. Other than that, the IMAX shots looked gorgeous. I just wish there were more.

The movie was well worth the wait megan fox in imax enough said visually the film was stunning in imax and it is worth it to go to a real imax theather compared to a AMC The twins. Were hilarious and after seeing the hangover nothing is going to offend me my only minor gripe is that the film sort of lags at the end but the battle scenes were worth the price of admisson

I have been waiting for the sequel to Transformers to come out, and it was well worth the wait. This movie is excellent and the effects were outstanding. Went to see the movie with a friend and his son that did not see the original, but there was no need tohave seen it to follow the storyline. Excellent movie and I recommend it to anyone, but especially fans of the series and Sci-Fi or Action movies.

Michael Bay should be the only person allowed to make action movies. It may sound cheesy but I have never been on the edge of my seat and just in total and complete awe at a movie before. It is completely worth paying full price to see this movie again at least one more time. I thought the first movie was amazing but ‘Revenge of the Fallen” is on a whole other level.

Maybe the first movie was too good and there was more anticipation than payoff, but I'm disappointed. The plot was good and the arc of the hero worked but the script was weak. What didn't work in the script, however, was made up in effects. The movie was visual candy.
Language is not safe for little ones as there is much more swearing than the first film. The newly introduced twins were ignorant and added NO VALUE to the story. Sort of like the Jar Jar Binx in Star Wars. The AMC IMAX experience is not worth it. Go to a real IMAX theater. The AMC screen is 1/3 the size of a real IMAX screen and the speakers are louder, not better.

I read a few other reviews that I thought were spot on! To be honest, this movie was not very memorable for me so reading the reviews reminded me of a few things. First it is VERY inappropriate for children. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS! Tons of swearing and perverted behavior. Second, the robot twins were totally annoying. It was pretty funny, but overall it was merely entertaining, not worthy of praise like "the Dark Night" or a movie of great thought, this was pretty much all hype.(IMAX was Fantastic though!)

I gave this movie 5 stars because you cannot rate it 4.5. It was a great movie, and the scenery was just superb (Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas in tight clothes). The only problem I had with this was The Twins. They were SUPER annoying! Shouldn't have even been in the movie or ever again! More Megan Fox made up for it.

I admit I am biased because I grew up the original die cast metal Transformers and watching all 4 seasons of Transformers cartoons, but I was surprised how well this real life adaptation has become. Not only was the action, both CGI and real life heart pounding, but they managed to get deep into Transformers lore. On the acting side all the real life actors contributed a sense of comic relief and reality that is praise worthy. After all we can only connect with alien robots through their connection to our humanity :) .

This movie was much better than the first in my opinion. It had more comedy, romance, and action then the first movie, and the new robots were really a plus. This story line didn't drag, even though the movie was very long. I loved it!

I've been a TF fan from the beginning in 1984. Was thrilled with the first live-action movie but thought it had too much 'suggestive' humor. I was really hoping to see less of that in ROTF. Too bad, because there was a lot more lewdness in this movie which really detracted from an otherwise great action movie. Despite this, I loved some of the messages in the movie including Optimus Prime's comment to Sam that 'fate rarely calls upon us at a time of our choosing.' Here's hoping the third movie gives us back some of the innocence that made the TF franchise so great!

If you decide to see TRANSFORMERS, the only way to truly see it and experience the true greatness of this film, is to see it in IMAX. The sound vibrations, clarity of the screen and depth of the scenes, made it feel as if you were a part of the movie at times! This film had action from beginning to very end and though it says it is 2.5 hours long, you cannot tell because of how action packed it is. The return of the majority of the cast from the first film makes this worth every penny you spend to see the movie. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

If your into action, speed, destruction, a touch of comedy and a little romance with good looking participants then this movie is a must see. I thoroughly enjoyed giving up my 2 1/2 hrs of evening time to be entertained by these actors & actresses- sam witicky again does an aesome job and michaela banes is.. well absolutely gorgeous. Took my kids to see this movie last night. Overall it was a decent movie, not nearly as good as the first Transformers movie and definitely not as good as Star Trek and certainly not in the same league as the Dark Night as some may suggest, but better than the Terminator. The CGI was perfection but the story line was lacking as was the acting itself. Also, be prepared to cover young children's eyes during a couple of scenes.

This was an awesome movie to see at the Imax theater. Only bad thing was they had a lot of curse words and grown up references in this movie, parents beware before you go. Other than that it was the best action movie I have seen in a while. Make sure to go see it at an Imax theater if you can.

As a from the begining G1 on fan, I loved it. Iam blessed that the thing I grew up with as a kid is still around a growing and expanding. Going to Botcon and meeting the fans and people that made Transformers what it is today was increadible.The movie was increadible, sure it had a few mistakes in it. The individual coponents of Devastator were fighting in the big battle at the end. Just so you know that is something that happened in the cartoon all the time. I guess that was an Easter egg for us G1 fans as an acknowledgment to us. Thank all the people that keep Transformers going and continuing it for future Generations.

I've been a fan of the Transformers since I was a child growing up. My favorites were Soundwave and the Dinobots. What kid DIDN'T like dinosaurs? I was hoping to for more out of the Soundwave character in the movie, but it was great to see some of the characters from the cartoon, like Ravage. This was my first time watching a movie in IMAX, and I must say, I'm never going to watch a movie again unless it IS at at IMAX showing. I want to watch it again and again. The action just keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I thought that the plot and special effects were incredible. There was plenty of action and I felt the humor was a very good fit for the film and they blended it well. And seeing it on IMAX only made the viewing experience that much more exciting.

Movie wasn't horrible, CG was awesome. While I wasn't as into it as my date, it was good to see/ hear the crowd had got into the movie as events unfolded! I'd definitely recommend friends to see this one.
