Disappointed with the execution of the story

Maybe the first movie was too good and there was more anticipation than payoff, but I'm disappointed. The plot was good and the arc of the hero worked but the script was weak. What didn't work in the script, however, was made up in effects. The movie was visual candy.
Language is not safe for little ones as there is much more swearing than the first film. The newly introduced twins were ignorant and added NO VALUE to the story. Sort of like the Jar Jar Binx in Star Wars. The AMC IMAX experience is not worth it. Go to a real IMAX theater. The AMC screen is 1/3 the size of a real IMAX screen and the speakers are louder, not better.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
