I was waitting for this movie for very long time, and It was worth it!! The effects are owsome and the acting of every single one is much better, What can I said, I'm a big fan of the Saga. Now wait for the next one, that I'm sure it will be even better.

They did an awesome job with following the book. A few things should have been added like how she got the motorcycles and not just show up at Jacobs with them. If you didn't read the book that might have been a little confusing. But overall loved how they did the movie. Thought they did an awesome job with the wolves. You could feel the the characters emotions right through the film. LOVED IT!!! Can't wait till it's on DVD so I can watch it over & over again. :)

Twihards will not be disappointed in this one. New Moon was excellent! It was definitely an improvement from Twilight. Graphics were great...and the acting has even improved. I just hope that Eclipse and Breaking Dawn continue in this positive direction. I really didn't have any complaints. If you love the books...you will love the movie! My only semi complaint would be all the screaming kids...everytime that Jacob was seen shirtless or Edward came on screeen. Other than that...it was what i hoped and expected it would be...great!!

OMG, OMG...NEW MOON was so much better than TWILIGT, definitely worth checking out if you are a TWILIGHT SAGA book fan or a vampire/werewolf fan:) It's definitely worth checking out if you are a Jacob/Taylor Lautner fan, he's a hottie;) I am TEAM EDWARD fan for Bella, TEAM JACOB for myself:) Bella you can have Edward, Jacob's mine...LOL;) I am more of a werewolf girl than a vampire girl.

Bring your tissues, your heart will melt and break during this one, Bella is a true heiress in this one, my Heart broke for her and Edward, this only made my Love for the triangle stronger, and I Cannot WAIT till the sequal of the next one, I sat on the edge of my seat and my heart was racing the whole time, I loved Jacobs alter self as the wolf, the portrayal was real and convincing, so awesome, Great Job, I will see this again before DVD hits.

My daughter and I were sorely depressed with New Moon. We felt Twilight was much better than New Moon. Yes it was nice to see wolf pack ( very buff) but it could not carry the movie. The interaction between Bella and Jacob was nice but the movie didn't flow. It felt like they didn't know how to seamlessly connect the events that happened in the book. Sorry guys but it was not up to my standards. I think the new director was looking to make it more action packed but in doing so it lost a lot of soul. May purchase it when it come out on dvd and try to watch it again but I am not paying $10 to watch it again onthe big screen.

New Moon was sooo good, way better then Twilight was, although I still do love Twilight as well. You just got a better feel for the characters in this movie, love the new director. Would definitely see again and will be buying when it comes out on dvd!

My sister had to pull my arm to get me to go see Twilight. Two seconds into Twilight, I was hocked. I've seen Twilight 25/30 times. After seeing Twilight, I bought all 4 books. I could not put the books down. It was like air. I needed it. I was sad when I finished the books. There was nothing left. Finally New Moon came out, & I loved it. New Moon was perfectly done. They took the second book & did such a great job putting it on the big screen. Can't wait too see the other two books unfold. I'm sure they will be as good or better. While I wait for the other 2 books to be put on the big screen. I'm hoping Edward's version will be finish on paper & released in the stores. I will be waiting..

attention: there is no super dramatic vampire showdown scene at the end. that does not happen in the book. The movies keep deviating from the plot and it's bugging the snot out of me. They butchered my beloved books>:(

I truly found this movie to be extremely slow. I understand this being a tween movie, but it seem to last forever without truly going anywhere, until Bella went to Italy.

New Moon was definently worth the wait! Loved Twilight but New Moon was even better. I thought Twilight kind of had an edgy, grunge atmosphere which was lost for New Moon. The acting in New Moon seemed a lot more natural, seemed like the actors were more at ease in their character. The special effects (the werewolves) were spectacular! I loved the funny 1 liners & the chemistry between Bella & Edward was even better in this movie. I left the theater already planning a day to see it again!

New Moon was much better than Twilight. The movie stayed pretty true to the book and, at the end, I noticed that, unlike Twilight, I had not rolled my eyes even once. Took husband (who hadn't read the books) with us and he liked it, too and said he looked forward to seeing the future installments. Better acting, better dialogue - Chris Weitz "got it"! Really couldn't find much negative to say about the movie - enjoyed it!

After watching the movie I realized what makes me enjoy this story- it's almost the same thing as Charlaine Harris' "Sookie Stackhouse" novels (HBO's "True Blood"). I can't help but feel if it weren't for Charlaine Harris, Stephenie Meyer would hardly have a story to tell.
Kristen Stewart should have NEVER gotten the part of Bella. She looks tired in every scene and about 95% of her lines have little to no emotion behind them- every line is said in the same way, in the same tone. After watching Kristen Stewart in these Twilight movies, I know to stay away from any movie she is starring in. Toward the end of the movie I noticed Rob Pattinson's pale complexion disappeared in some cuts.

Like so many other Twilight fans, I was anxiously awaiting the release of New Moon. Well, it was worth the wait. The movie followed the book closer than other book-to-movie films I have seen. The acting was great - very much true to the characters in the book. The few director changes (i.e. Bella's visions of Edward rather than audible ones) were a perfect fit for the movie. I have read some "bad" critiques about the film, but after seeing it, I have come to the conclusion that those critics either a) didn't read the book, b) the movie isn't for their gender or age group (the critic for my local paper is a 60+ male) or c) both. :) I loved the movie and am now anxiously waiting for Eclipse - June 30, 2010!!!

I thought Chris Weiz did a good job staying true to the book however there is way more content in the book. When I first read the series, I gotta admit I was a Team Edward fan all the way, but after seeing this movie...I feel compassion for Jacob and the whole wolf pack. I loved the cliffhanger ending...what a creative way to do it!! I will definitely see this movie a few more times and I already can't wait for the DVD! Two thumbs up for New Moon!! :)

I walked in to the movie hoping it would be better than Twilight and it was. Chris Weitz did an excellent job as a director. I guess they told Kristen Stewart to keep her mouth closed in this film because I couldn't stand how it always was open in Twilight. Her acting was slightly improved, but the one who I think really carried this movie was Taylor Lautner. He was a believable character and you could tell this part meant alot to him. Other than that the scenes went by fluidly, it had its moments where you laughed where it wasn't really supposed to be funny (when edward groaned while kissing bella). Overall, better than the first!

i went and saw new moon with my niece and my boyfriend and i really liked it. i am a team jacob person so the suspense of them almost kissing several times was killing me. lol. i really liked the action scenes and i thought the work on the transformation of the wolves was awesome. and the ending definitely left me wanting more!
