I really enjoyed this movie....I liked Twilight too but it seemed a little low budget. New Moon on the other hand did not. I liked the wolves involvement...and of course all the characters.

New Moon was absolutely EXCELLENT! Thought it was done much better than Twilight. The characters looked excellent and superbly portrayed their roles. Granted, you can never get the emotion that is in the books, but I loved the movie and would consider seeing it again soon. I will also buy it on DVD. Edward is SO handsome and myserious; Bella looked quite seductive in her slightly romantic parts with Edward; Jacob...what a set of abs!

I knew this movie was going to be worth the wait and watching, and i was absolutely right. The movie had me interested the whole way, i didnt blink once i think it was so good. the action was in the right places of the movie and all fell in perfect. the ending was the best!!! cant wait for Eclipse!!!!!! TEAM TAYLOR!!!!!!

OMG this was the best movie ever. I had been anticipating up until the moment I saw the movie. Could not believe how much this movie went with the book unlike Twilight. The look that they gave everyone just perfect. Plus if you want to see half naked men this would be a must see movie. I would tell everyone that I know to go see it as many times as you can.

New Moon was the least favorite of the Twilight books so I wasn't thrilled with the storyline of this movie but wanted to see how it would play out on the screen and they did a good job overall. I am very much looking forward to Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I just felt the soundtrack was blah & it was missing the "artsy" feel that the first movie had. Watching Bella be mopy for a good majority of the movie was getting annoying too, I like more "action" and I thought the Italy scenes were great.

The book was quite long and drawn out. The movie is the same but still interesting. It wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. It is true to the book. Important details and parts of the book were included in the movie.

Katherine Hardwick come back, please! New Moon was so choppy that I didn't feel a real connection going on with any of the characters. So much dialogue was sacrificed in favor of action.

This movie was much better than Twilight. It followed the book better than the first movie, and Kristen Stewart seemed to have a little (yes, I mean just a little) more personality in this one. The wolf pack was great, and if you didn't like Jacob in the books, you will like him now. Great movie!

Jacob is a hottie! Does that count for anything? This movie was so much better than the first. Special effects were obiously better quality. I liked that they didn't make it all green/gray and creepy like they did in the first movie. Wolf action was great, Vulturi were as scary as I would have expected. True to the book, loved it, can't wait for Eclipse.

I thought this movie was just amazing, by far better than the first one. It surpassed my expectations. It had all that a movie needs to be great: romance, action, some comedy, and suspense. I definitely would recommend this movie to everyone not only twilight fans. It's sure enjoyment and even though it is long, it does not drag out every moment was worth it.

This movie was sooooo very much better than Twilight, Chris Weitz did justice to the book, with small exceptions here and there, but otherwise Amazing! The soundtrack in the movie was greatly placed and helped the movie too. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, even non-fans. Oh and its not just a chick flick, speaking as a guy, there is something for the guys and girls. Don't miss this movie because you thought Twilight was just wrong.

Unlike Twilight, New Moon stayed true to the book. Everything about this movie was better than the first. Catherine Hardwicke did the movie twilight loosely based on the book. As a fan of the book, the movie was very disappointing. Chris Weitz captured so much of the book in New Moon, and really hit the target on showing what you pictured in your head while reading. It was a wonderful movie and I'm Definitely looking forward to what they will do with Eclipse!! Can't Wait!

The movie was excellent! It was much better than Twilight, so I hope they keep the new director!!! Our group had 2 male adults, 1 male teenager, 3 female adults, and 2 female teenagers...and we all loved it, even though 4 in our group had not read the books. Definitely worth the money! Can't wait for the Blu-Ray!!!!

After being quite disappointed in Twilight, I was a bit nervous about seeing New Moon. Ten minutes into the movie I was hooked! The emotional turmoil felt by Bella, Edward and Jacob was well acted, making them all likeable, believeable and captivating. The adventure to Italy was amazing, but I would have liked more time there. The special effects were superb, especially the wolves. Bravo!

I liked the movie overall. However, it moved too fast for what the story was trying to tell. In the book, you really feel Bella's pain; but the movie did not allow you to. The idea was there in her e-mails to Alice and the few scenes where she is screaming from her nightmares, but that part of the story never truly came across on screen like it did in the book.
That being said, the movie definitely was enjoyable! I feel they did a great job with the werewolves (wow!) and there were a number of comical moments which I appreciated. As a movie, it was good; however, the book is still better...imagination is a great thing!
I would recommend this movie to fans and newcomers alike.

I went into this with better than average expectations and I was more than pleased! The sparkle rocked! The F/X for the vampires was beautiful. Dakota Fanning's eyes were mesmerizing and creepy at the same time! The F/X were 10 times greater in this movie. I think that with Twilight, the producers didn't know what to expect, not knowing it would be the juggernaut that it was. The producers saw this and stepped it up. I loved the one-liners for Emmett and Jasper-very clever! The scope of the book is followed, keeping true to Meyer's novel, but allowing for some flexibility within the characters. Taylor Lautner did a wonderful job as Jacob, truly diving into it. Overall, a great film and looking forward to Eclipse and hopefully Breaking Dawn!

Well I went into this movie with great hopes and boy was it wonderful..There are many sad moments where your heart aches for Bella and then quite a few funny and sweet moments..The ending left be craving more and wanting to read the whole book series again! Cant wait till 6/30/2010!!!!!

This movie is way better than Twilight, Chris W. did an awesome job, and I'm gonna go back to watch it again today. The werewolves were great, and I liked how the Cullens got a bigger part in the movie! Taylor and Robert did an excellent job and I can't wait for Eclipse to come out!!!

Followed the book pretty well, but the acting lacked emotion. Didn't care for how the characters looked different from the first movie (except Edward, Jacob and Charlie looked the same.) It was like there was no climax to the movie b/c I didn't believe Edward's lack of reaction to seeing Bella in Volterra.

This was a great movie...it definitely stuck closer to the book than Twilight did...it gave you a definite insight intothe Jacob and Bella relationship...I took my 5 year old daughter (Team Edward all the way) to see this as her birthday wish and she sat through the entire movie...we definitely are going to see it again

I was truly impressed with how wonderful this movie was. I saw Twilight - never read the books, though I am reading them now and for an adult, I was blown away. I thought the acting was great - Bella could have been a little more emotional, but I thought Edward and Jacob were superb! I would see it again and again!

This was fantastic. It keep me on the edge of my seat. It was great to have read the book before and been able to know what was coming. The ending.... NICE Cliff Hanger!! Can't wait till June of 2010 for the next movie. FANTASTIC!! Recommend everyone to go see it.
