I liked the movie overall. However, it moved too fast for what the story was trying to tell. In the book, you really feel Bella's pain; but the movie did not allow you to. The idea was there in her e-mails to Alice and the few scenes where she is screaming from her nightmares, but that part of the story never truly came across on screen like it did in the book.
That being said, the movie definitely was enjoyable! I feel they did a great job with the werewolves (wow!) and there were a number of comical moments which I appreciated. As a movie, it was good; however, the book is still better...imagination is a great thing!
I would recommend this movie to fans and newcomers alike.
