Great conclusion

I had read the final book when it was first released, so didn't remember much going into the theater. I thought it was fantastic and was a great wrap-up to the movies and did the books justice. Everyone in the theater was rapt with it as you could hear a pin drop during the quiet parts. We watched it on the UltraScreen in 2D (am not a fan of 3D) and it was well worth the extra ticket price.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Good:
The planet of Pandora was stunning. The colors of their world at night were breathtaking. The Pandoran people were beautiful. Great storyline of how we should not squander our own natural resouces and then try to steal others'. The 3D was pretty good although I have a hard time seeing it in 3D with my eye prescription.
The Bad:
1 hr 45 min into the movie I started getting bored, but it picked up again. I was disappointed with S Weaver's acting - was really fake for her. The military bad guy was a bad actor.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Followed the book pretty well, but the acting lacked emotion. Didn't care for how the characters looked different from the first movie (except Edward, Jacob and Charlie looked the same.) It was like there was no climax to the movie b/c I didn't believe Edward's lack of reaction to seeing Bella in Volterra.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
