Im just happy that it was more tied into the book than twilight ever was. There are a few tweaks but overall, it was alright. I can't wait for Eclipse!

After being slightly (well more than slightly) disappointing after Twilight I went into the theater to watch New Moon not expecting much. Well...I should have! It was better than I hoped!
All the fundamental scenes were there and even though a lot were out of order or tweaked it still managed to maintain the theme and feeling I got when reading the book...I really give it up to Chris Weitz, such a beautiful film.
Best Thing
1. I could literally feel Bellas hole in her chest (Chris Weitz is genius! the camera angles/motions were magnificent)
Least Favorite Thing
1. I wish we got to see Bella, Edward, and Alice coming home from Italy, and everything that entails. It was a 2 hour movie after all! (maybe on the DVD?)

God all that i can say is AFTER seeing this movie...that i have fallen in more in love with the whole saga!! even tho i have yet to read the last 2...(WAITIN CUZ I WANNA READ IT CLOSER TO THE RELEASE OF THE NEXT MOVIE...CAN'T WAIT) and so i don't understand how people who have read this can absolutely say that it had followed the book to the T...i mean yeah it did for the most part...but i did notice some minor differences...but i guess that's just me...regardless tho i loved it!! FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END!!!!! and the ending was like..."WHOA and awww" @ the same time!! <3 TEAM EDWARD <3 all the way baby!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved new moon. I was quite critical towards Twilight. With the new direction the story came to life with each character's personality. Jacob's transformation into his newly developed character and physique is absoluely breathtaking.He shows dynamic emotion and passion in his role! The best part about New Moon is that it follows so close to the book's story. I was so pleased to see even the smallest details from the book put onto the screen. New Moon rocked! I can't wait to see it again and again.Thank goodness we only have to wait 7 months instead of a year for Eclipse!!!

Much better than the first movie. More of the important parts of the book were kept in... Bella and Edward matched the characters in the book much better than they did in the first movie... The acting was also better than the first movie. The action scene at the end was surprisingly well done. Wish there were more Jane in the story because Dakota Fanning was fantastic- even though she was only there for 5 mins, she left a lasting impression.

you know how sometimes you can be a little skeptical of sequels? Don't worry, this movie is far from that. It stayed so close to the book, from beginning to end. The fight scenes were amazing, the storyline was amazing, the visual effects were amazing! I'm happy they kept some scenes out of the movie (the wolves history) and i'm happy they added scenes (ending battle). All in all, this movie does not dissappoint =)

New Moon was definitely better than the first but still doesn't live up to the book as well as some other movies I've seen (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings). Bella was played better in this film than the first and Jacob did quite well. I still can't see what the infatuation with Robert Pattinson as Edward is as he is so not the Edward in my imagination - not even close. Either way - better than the first so I'm hoping the movies keep getting better as the story goes on.

A must see for any and all ages who have enjoyed the books. Not necessarily recommended for those who have yet to be introduced to the fun. You need to understand where the characters reactions and/or responses are coming from to appreciate the nuance. I will see it again and most definitely buy a copy of my own. Can't wait for the release of Eclipse!!!

Much better make up than the first, and the acting...the same. They're not going to win any academy awards. Jacob was stunningly handsome and it was hilarious hearing all the screaming when he took his shirt off. The movie is a must see for all Twilight fans...but it is no where near as good as the book.

This was an excellent movie, which for the TRUE fans out there, remained as true to the book as a movie possibly could. Nice emotional rollercoaster and couldn't have asked for a more perfect ending although I was extremely sad it was over. Nice set up for Eclispe!

New Moon was definitely a great sequel to Twilight. The scenes were well done, the story line stayed fairly close to the book and there was the appropriate amount of anx. It was quite an experience to be surrounded by all teenage girls (and a few older women like myself) and hear the screams and mania when Edward or Jacob came onscreen. It was definitely worth the hype and I would pay to see it a second time.

I just can't get enough of Twilight. If you saw the first movie, you know that the caliber of movie isn't phenomenal, but they did a better job with the second one. Of course Jacob looks amazing, and you can get wrapped up in the story. Highly recommended to those who 1) love the books, 2) liked the first movie, or 3) want to see Taylor Lautner topless.

For Twilight series fans, the movie gave us more of the first movie's "campy" feel with the music, dialogue, etc. I definitely wanted to see more of Edward - but the storyline of New Moon prevents that until the end. Jacob was endearing and adorable with his short hair. The movie made you feel you wanted to see Eclipse right away! Cannot come soon enough! Bella's NEED and desperation for Edward's love was well portrayed, but even though Edward expresses his inability to live without Bella - we don't see much of his dark days without her. That would have been interesting to see!

Enjoyed more than the first movie, preferred this director's "vision" of the novel in translating to screen. The vampires' movement looked sooo much better in this movie, didn't just look like people on wires moving their legs.

I know that the entire book would take days to watch as a movie, (I would watch it all too!!) but I feel the key points were here. I LOVED New Moon but I think that you just HAVE to read the books to really appreciate it. I wasn't ready for it to be over...it felt like I had just sat down!
