I am absolutely pleased with movie tickets.com and the experience I had. Of course New Moon was a very very anticipated movie and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to purchase a ticket the day of the movie, or there would be a wicked long line but no I was able to purchase my ticket online a few months ahead and was able to recieve it at the theater at any time! Even before the movie came out, and i was able to get right in line and get a good seat, and the movie was amazing I would definitely recommend it to anyone, even if they don't like the series. It truely was an amazing movie and I also would recommend using movie tickets.com and it was really easy to purchase the tickets it only took a few seconds, yes they were the best!

Stayed close to the book. Would change only 2 short scenes (1st danger scene/Alice's vision in Rome). Kristen's performance was much better. Everyone was beautiful but still a little too heavy on the vampire make-up, and their eyes too golden. All in all a wonderful job, saw it 3 times in first 24 hours of release. Will see it again and again.

Walking out of the theater I asked my friend when it was going to be released on dvd so I could pop it in my dvd player and watch it repeatedly. I loved new moon. I loved the way Edward looked after Bella found him. I just wanted to wrap him up in my arms and tell him it would be okay! It flowed good, some of the acting was cheesy, but it wasn't from the main characters. But it did make me laugh! So that is good. Humor, romance, action, all in one movie. I won't say suspence because I knew what was going to happen. Unless you haven't read the books, there really isn't any suspence. I loved this movie. And I can't wait for Eclipse to come out! Team Edward!

I saw this movie twice on opening day and intend to see it at least once more on the big screen. Definitely will buy the DVD when it is released. New Moon was faithful to the book and to the characters. I saw it with friends who had read all of the Twilight Saga books as well as with friends who had never picked up even one of the books and all were well entertained by the movie. Can't wait for Eclipse (my favorite book of the saga) to hit the big screen!

I have been a huge fan of the twilight books since before breaking dawn came out. I have to say New Moon was absolutley brilliant. It stayed very true to the book which I didn't expect because of Twilight, which although I did enjoy, New Moon was 100 times better.
Anyone who hasn't seen it needs to see it ASAP!

I thought Twilight was better than New Moon. First director better, understood intensity of the relationship.Jacob did a good job just too short! Bella is ok, she has very limited acting skills and doesnt seem to have the "old soul" nature to match Edwards. Shes not sensitive and emotional enough, its almost as if shes playing it too cool?The Dad is pretty spot on. What can I say about Edward, he's perfect. Music disappointing.They should have kept some of the original score! Aro was perfect!

I have to agree with many others- Twilight had left me dissapointed after having read the series 6 months prior. But New moon impressed! It was the adaptation I had wished for with Twilight and was exactly as I had pictured it when reading. The acting was MUCH better than the overanimated, comical character portrayal of the first.
I have to say, I can't wait for Eclipse!

I was so impressed by this movie. I'm a fan of the books, but I was a little let-down by the Twilight movie. I thought New Moon was nearly flawless in every way, though. It was very well-filmed, well-acted, and just great overall. The dialogue was much better than in Twilight, which I really appreciated. The romantic parts were just romantic enough without being cheesy, the scary parts were VERY WELL DONE (God I was so proud of the Volturi cast, especially Aro!)...just spectacular. Loved it. I hope Eclipse is this good!!!

The movie was great. I feel it did stay true to the book for the most part. I feel likethey moved through some really emotional parts a little to fast. The book actually comes alive. The characters had the right look and most importantly were as they were written in the book. Stephenie is 100% right, Chris is a genious. New Moon flowed perfectly where as Twilight seems choppy now in comparison. The wolves, wow just wow! Michael Sheen is the perfect Aro. I was sorry when it was over, just like the book I wanted it to go on for a while longer!!
I just might go see New Moon again and will be watching for presale info regarding the DVD.

Movie was true to the book, wished there was more Edward. The werewolves weren't as buff as the book made them to be. But the effects were awesome! The vampire eyes were too obvious I liked the suddelty of them in Twilight. Bella's face always looked like she was smelling flatulance. A little melodramatic for me!

To say I was impressed with New Moon would be a major understatment. The book could not have been brought to life more beautifully or matched my imaginings more. There are elements you aren't expecting that have been added and when the Quileute boys transform into wolves you will be absolutely breathless. I will be seeing again in the theaters. Bravo.

I understand the movie followed the book but reading and looking are two different verbs. I was so let down by the movie. I was waiting anxiously for a breathtaking moment, and I would tell myself ok it's coming soon and the movie ended and I just didn't feel that.
Total disappointment. I will be waiting for Eclipe because this was not worth my time, there was a 2nd book created for nothing, the break up and getting back together could've been summed up in the first 25 minutes of Eclipe instead.... and therefore avoid a 2 hour movie that made no sense...
