I have to agree with many others- Twilight had left me dissapointed after having read the series 6 months prior. But New moon impressed! It was the adaptation I had wished for with Twilight and was exactly as I had pictured it when reading. The acting was MUCH better than the overanimated, comical character portrayal of the first.
I have to say, I can't wait for Eclipse!

Not quite the best...

It has to be hard being the screen version of what I consider to be the best book/series ever... My anticipation was so built up that it's almost inevitable I would feel slightly let down... While Kristen carried the movie as a wonderful Bella, some of the other side characters proved more comedic in their portrayal than what the role deserved....It made for audience laughter at what were meant to be serious moments...kinda awkward. I think if I had to sum it up- I was excited to see my much loved characters on the big screen but it could have been an hour longer as it seemed too rushed!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
