Great Film Adaptation

Stayed close to the book. Would change only 2 short scenes (1st danger scene/Alice's vision in Rome). Kristen's performance was much better. Everyone was beautiful but still a little too heavy on the vampire make-up, and their eyes too golden. All in all a wonderful job, saw it 3 times in first 24 hours of release. Will see it again and again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I love it! The first time I watched the movie I compared it to the book and the movie deviates from the book in several places, so my first thoughts were "they could have made it better". However I have now seen the movie 6 times with no signs of slowing down or stopping. In fact I have 3 other friends lined up to watch the movie with this week, and I just saw it tonight. They could not have picked a better Edward -he was great. And although I think the actress playing Bella really looks the part, her acting was not as awe-inspiring as Edward - she didn't convey the "longing" and emotion that he did.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
