Having grown up reading Ramona books, I loved sharing this movie with my daughter. I laughed and cried, and just all around enjoyed this movie. Even my 10 year old and her friend shed a tear in this one, and laughed out loud, too. The quality cast made this one worth while!

I only read part of Ramona the Pest when I was a child, but I got the gist of Ramona's character/personality. Finally a movie that is for the whole family! I am a mom of a 9yr old girl and a 7yr old boy and we all loved it. I remember reading the books as a kid and my daughter is currently reading her 1st one now (which is why she wanted to see the movie) and I think they did a wonderful job putting the book to life! It wasn't too far fetched, but it was good to see a family go through life's struggles and how they deal with it. The only part I would warn about is there is a sad part that my son (who is very sensitive) had a hard time with. Nothing to terrible though. Overall we all loved the movie!

I have never read the books so this was all new to me. I'm the mom of 4 and 8 year old girls. My girls liked the movie - I kept waiting for a story line to start. There isn't much of a plot. The kids are cute but it made me feel like a failure as a parent! The parents in the movie never yelled at their kids once - seriously? Am I the only mom who yells at her kids when they do destructive things to the house? Still, ALL the leading men were incredibly good looking which made this movie easy to watch!

My husband even went with me to take the girls ages 4 and 8. Our daughters are just like the characters in the movie so it was great for my husband and I as we related to the whole movie. Just a great movie all around. I even had some tears at times. My 4 yr old even sat still so that in itself was amazing :) Would recommend and also buy the movie when it comes out :) If you have ever read the Henry Huggins, Romana, Beezus books in grade school, a lot of names come back that are familiar :))

This was a great movie. It was a grandma and granddaughter day out. The movie was excepectional for all ages. Clean cut, and very well made. I would love to see it again. Thanks to Elizabeth Allen for directing and all the producers and stars for a great film.

My six year old said she was ready to see it again as we were walking out of the theater!! A heart warming and feel good movie! The cast was great and the story was well done! We'll own this one soon!!
