Super funny, kept us all laughing Better than the 1st movie, they just keep getting better, looking forward to the next movie in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. Great for kids and adults.
My husband even went with me to take the girls ages 4 and 8. Our daughters are just like the characters in the movie so it was great for my husband and I as we related to the whole movie. If you have ever been through hard times you can relate, if you haven't it makes you thankful. If you have kids you can relate, if you have a special Aunt or Uncle you can relate. Just a great movie all around. I even had some tears at times. My 4 yr old even sat still so that in itself was amazing :) Would recommend and also buy the movie when it comes out :) If you have ever read the Henry Huggins, Romana, Beezus books in grade school, a lot of names come back that are familiar :))
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Started out STRONG,nothing boring about this movie in anyway.Shocking, Riviting and action packed. This movie never stops! Every level of the movie intensifies and gets better and more shocking. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time waiting for the next thing to happen. On top of all that, I also had tears as did my husband when he was remanissing with his daughter when she was little. We felt his pain, having three little girls of our own. It makes you feel what he feels and it was just overall amazing. One of the best movies i have ever seen. The ending was great too. I felt satisfied and relieved and was NOT left wondering for once.most movies leave you hanging.
The kids and I all loved it. It kept their attention the whole time which is rare :) Lots of great music, dancing and high energy . Keeps you watching the whole time :) It was also great to see Earl (My name is Earl) in this light :) I was really impressed :)
for little kids i don't recommend this film. there were a lot of scary and confusing parts and I think it is best suited for older kids. the rating does state that it is rated PG. even my 17 yr old was a little shocked by some of the scenes. It wasn't a bad movie just not what we expected for a family trip to the movies. better stick to G ratings if you have kids :) i think the previews were misleading, it made us all think it was a kids movie.
