Mildly entertaining. Very close to For Richer or Poorer with Kerstie Ally. Predictable and viewer needs to understand the open spaces of Wyoming to appreciate the contrast between New York and Ray Wyoming. What about .... "The Morgans?" Too long, too cliche, too predictable, too unbelievable, too little chemistry between Grant & Parker .... too much "not so good" stuff going on in this "comedy chick-flick". It would have been easy enough to give this movie one star & totally write it off but I remembered laughing out loud several times at Hugh Grant's dry English "crumpetty" (yes - I made up that word) humor. I've missed that a bit - apparently - so, out of appreciation & nostalgia for "Hugh's humor" - it gets two stars. Cannot recommend seeing it in a theater but it may be worth a NetFlix rental 3 months from now.

Okay if you have nothing else to do. Predictable from start to finish with a well used formula. Actors tried hard, but Hugh Grant gave the appearance of been there, done that and is obviously type cast. Should be quick exit from theaters to DVD sales.

'Did You Hear About the Morgans?' is a great romantic comedy, well cast throughout. Hugh grant is perfect in this type of movie, and Sarah Jessica Parker (although far from being my favorite) even worked fairly well in this one. The witty one liners and clever banter kept chuckles flowing consistently from beginning to end. The rest of the cast kept the movie interesting by making the characters charming and believable. The quaint small town hospitality was a refreshing contrast to the big city life that the separated couple thought they couldn't live without, and helped them see what was really important in their lives. There’s nothing groundbreaking here, but it was very enjoyable.

This is a fun movie to see. Although it would definately not be considered a 'great movie', it is good for a lot of laughs. Sam Elliott, and Mary Steenburgen were casted absolutely perfect in their supporting roles...I almost liked them better than the main characters!! Grant was terriffic as always. Although Parkers acting was good, I feel the part would have been more believable with someone else cast for the part. The country scenary, and the small town atmosphire, were great. The two assistances to the main characters were terrible, and not believable at all. Overall, a fun movie, and worth seeing in the threater. It would make a fun afternoon or evening outing. After that, I would wait until it comes out in DVD or on television.

When my date suggested this movie my first thought was "Hugh Grant and Sara Jessica Parker?". Didn't see this a s a good match, They deliver a pleasantly funny , light-hearted comedy that is in the end pretty entertaining. Some good laughs with some trite moments that balance out in the end. Mary Steenburgen is a hoot as the gun toting deputy helping to protect the "Morgans". If you're looking for a pleasantly surprising evening of entertainment go see the "Morgans".

It may not be a GREAT movie, but it is a great date movie. Parker and Grant have great screen chemistry. The supporting cast (Elliott, Steenburgen, etc) add to the charm of the film. There are some great punch lines in this movie, but the story as a whole is funny. The rural scenes are set in Wyoming, but filmed in New Mexico. It was bit distracting, but that’s being picky. There is more than enough humor for the guy that's not fond of "romances" and plenty enough "romance" for gals that don't want to see "blow-em'up action". The movie is "clean" so it can be appropriate for nearly anyone. The "s* references" and "violence" are very mild by today’s standard. I'm almost surprised this movie drew a PG13 rather than a PG rating.
