Mildly entertaining. Very close to For Richer or Poorer with Kerstie Ally. Predictable and viewer needs to understand the open spaces of Wyoming to appreciate the contrast between New York and Ray Wyoming. Would wait to rent on DVD unless it's a rainy or snowy day and you don't have anything better to do.
I found the movie to have a very interesting and believable spin on armagedon. The mix of science and religion are handled very well. There were moments in the movie that appeared disjointed. But overall very entertaining with the unexpected ending. One reviewer indicated that they felt it should have focused on other culture and not just caucasin. If you paid any attention to the ending of the movie, you will see that the two children are not they only ones being transplanted. It does show many other transports which appear to come from all around the globe. Good family film worth seeing. Can open up some good conversation amongst family members.
