Sequels seldom live up to the original movies. I found this one very boring with poor acting and a silly storyline. Very predictable. Looked like this one should have been made for TV rather than movie theatre. Definitely won't waste my time on any new Iron Man sequels.

The caliber of the acting was superb, the story good, but the plot development less so. Too much time wasted on wham bam special effects and too little invested in character development and reaping the benefit from the actors' talent as well as the locations. Montecarlo could have been placed in Podunk, Iowa (with respect to the people of Podunk, if it exists) for all of the good it did... Let people enjoy the good parts and actual interaction between the stars rather than trying to dazzle them with how quickly they can blow up and destroy each location they are in. That's too easy and may be fine for young teen males but even they merit more.
Ironman 1 had that quality in spades, this sequel needed MUCH more of it. Maybe the next one will correct the imbalance again.
This was somewhat enjoyable, but left you wanting more and suffered from a lack of "flow". Still worth seeing, but Gwyneth was underused and came across as whiny. She deserves better. Every time the pace faltered, the movie introduced someone new, which helped but did not remedy the situation.
Dropping Terence Howard was a good move. All the other actors are great, but let us enjoy their talent versus forcing us to sit thro' explosion after explosion just for the sake of it.
Still hopeful the series can get back on track.

While it had some fun elements-- fast cars, sexy girls, comedic banter-- this next segment in the saga of Tony Stark, aka Ironman-- did not draw me in as much as the first. There is a personal story line, but it's glossed over in favor of predictable villains. There was more humanity in Iron Man 1. Still, its a fun movie, if you want pure entertainment, and I like much of the cast, so I'd give it a recommend.

Cute acting, great dialogue is some moments, but in separate parts. It doesn't flow. TOO Loud, TOOOOO LOUD, too much for too long. The drone thing was dumb... the Russian guy wouldn't have said 'you lose' then give Iron Man a minute to get the heck out of there. He would have had them explode right away. But... it's hollywood. Sam Rockwell was fantastic! Again.. TOO LOOOOONG, and TOOOOO LOUD.

Terrific flick. Fun, action,great characters, humor, special effects. Robert, Gwenyth and Mickey all at top of their game. Don great , but too bad Terence wasn't able to cut a deal. Comic book fans had their flames fanned with many hints to upcoming sequels and spin-offs. Me (58 yrs old) and my 20's yr old sons thoroughly enjoyed it. You come for the fantasy...and you get it !

A very entertaining movie, but does not attain the level of entertainment and interest that "IRONMAN" produced. The action is excellent, the sound is extremely loud, the photography is super. The acting and role of Scarlett Johansson steals the show. She literally saves IRONMAN. Worth a trip to the movie house near you.

This was one of the better sequels I have seen. Not much into the action heroes as I don't read comics and such but I found this movie interesting and entertaining. Robert does not disappont and neither does anyone else. Good fun & great effects!

Lot's of trite one-lines, but plenty of action to keep it going. Downy Jr and Cheadle are great actors, they make up want only the best to happen for them. Mickey Rourke is great in this movie; he plays the bad guy so well. Johannsen is awesome, her fight scenes are very slick, her character is sweet and innocent when we first meet her, but get to see her other side later. Paltrow is paltrey, vapid and insipid. She could have been a drone, acts as well as any robot we've ever seen. The supporting cast was awesome; Jackson, Favreau and on. Very enjoyable movie

Fantastic early summer movie. Lots of fun, and tons of humor. Keep a sharp ear, becuase the jokes come fast & furious.

Once again, an outstanding movie. Good story line and strong characters. A very enjoyable experience. If you loved the first one, this is as good if not better.
