This movie was extremely disappointing. Although there was decent acting and action, the plot had gaping holes in it you could drive an armored truck through. I don't expect complex plots from action movies, but this really was inexcusable. For example, a time constraint, which almost made the movie interesting, was introduced but then not dealt with at all in the latter half of the movie. Only one character was fully developed and the ending was ridiculous.

You will predict everything that happens in this movie. You have seen it before. You will see it again, with different actors and a different name, I'm sure. The actors turn in believable performances, but that doesn't compensate for the trite plot. 2.5 out of 5 stars; you won't hate this film, but you won't be waiting anxiously to buy it on DVD.

All the actors were believable. Surprised at the movie's ability to elicit compassion from me. It was fast paced, moved quickly and had several unexpected twists and turns. Didn't understand what was up with the cheapie abandoned building set, it took away from what had the reality of being an outstanding movie. Thought it could be a DVD movie, but the impact of the action scenes would have been seriously diminshed.

The only aspect to "Armored" that felt somewhat complete and fulfilling were the "armored truck chase scenes". Everything else in the movie was under-developed and under-utilized. That's a shame because the movie is chocked full of quality A-list movie actors and the premise itself has huge potential. Where is the back-story? Where are the nuances in the primary character relationships? Where is the meaningful dialogue? Where are the logical connections to each new piece to the story? This is a coin toss. I can recommend seeing the movie for the action scenes and the general twists - but it's a close call. May be a better investment of your movie investment dollars to rent later or see at the dollar theaters.

I had high hopes for "Armored" too bad it did not live up to the Hype!! "Armored" is about a 42 million dollar bank heist that goes awry. You will be surprised about how and why it goes awry.The biggest problem with the movie is there is not enough action, suspense or intrigue. Those are elements that help make an action thriller great. "Armored" is just good not great! The movie is too short, it ends without a proper ending. There is intense violence and some good acting, but that's where the accolades end.

I was super disapointed in this movie. There was not much of a story. Character development was poor or nil which was a disappointment with a cast of such talent available. I didn't feel like the good guy was really a good guy. I didn't want to cheer for him. An hour into the movie I found myself wishing for a big explosion where none of the "characters" survived. **Columbus Short** Every movie I have seen him in is a good movie! He can play a variety of roles. I will be supporting any movie he is in especially since he has a good professional image and is a GREAT ACTOR! I am so excited he is going to be in this action filled movie. I saw an interview on BET/Mo Nique Show and he is right no other actor could pull this off. I can not wait to see it on December 4 at AMC/Michigan.
