Our Family Wedding

My wife and I go to the movie once a week and we saw this movie last night with our 14 year old son. We enjoyed the movie very much. There was no profanity in the movie and no sex, other than the mention of it. There was mild innuendo but nothing crude. The movie made you laugh and it made you think about your relationships: parent/child, siblings, friends, marriage, race, and ethnicity. Forrest Whitaker is one of my favorite actors. I've enjoyed Regina King since 227, and Lance Gross (Calvin from House of Payne) is a phenominal up and coming young actor; he reminds me of Blair Underwood. I enjoyed the movie a lot and would recommend it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The movie was not as good as I thought it would be but it was OK. There was not much that could be done with the majority of the movie being in one place. I thought the end could have been better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Being the hip-hop aficionado I am, I enjoyed the moive. I thought it was well done. Although I do not agree with all of the movie's content I am aware that these are realities. Jamal Woolard did a superb job as Biggie, Naturi Naugthon did a fantastic job as Lil Kim, Anthony Mackie and Derek Luke held it down as Pac and Puff, and as expected, Angela Bassett played an excellent Ms. Wallace. I also liked that they did not just tease you with the soundtrack. I recommend the movie for all those who are fans of hip hop and or Biggie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
