Great movie to end the Toy Story saga.
However, the Disney Digital 3D wasn't used to its potential.
The Animation was amazing and the story was fantastic! Disney and Pixar did a phenomenal job finishing this story and bringing everything full circle.

while i thought the movie was quite clever, i think that parents should be aware of the stereotypes conveyed through this film so that they can decide how to discuss them with their children upon viewing it...

We both loved this movie. The effects in 3D were amazing. my 9 year old actually kept her 3D glasses on the entire time. We were both sad at the end with Andy gave his favorite toy away and left for college! This maybe the 3rd Toy Story but I think there might be another. You never know.

Our family went to this as a group: grandma and grandpa, daughter, 2 grand daughters. Grandpa is writing this. Everyone, EVERYONE, loved the movie. The 3D added to the movie but didn't get in the way of an outstanding story with the usual 1st class Toy Story voicing and animation. The story line is deep enough to remind the oldest of us what is important in our relationships and yet easy enough to grasp that 7 or 8 year olds will be learning important lessons as they are entertained.
Grab your kids and your grandparents and have a great evening of healthy entertainment -- the likes of which is increasingly hard to find today.

It's been well over 10 years since I've seen the original Toy Story and I never did get around to seeing the second. Still, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this movie. The characters continue to be engaging and the story itself had much more substance than I anticipated. Loved the movie. Saw it in 3D. So real I could not feel the 3D effects like I used to (either that or its becoming too familiar). The story really reached inside me. Saw it in 3D. Either the 3D effect was not as good as I had imagined it would be, or it was SO good and so "natural" that I forgot that it really WAS in 3D. In any event, the movie itself was outstanding, expertly produced and perfectly performed. Humor and pathos. Loved it.

I'm rarely willing to see any movie more than once, but when I saw Toy Story 3 last week with one of my grandchildren, I was more than willing to see it again with another grandchild. For the second visit I decided to opt for the 3D version. The movie was still fantastic. But 3D didn't add anything to it except $3 per ticket. For that premium I would have expected an eye-popping experience. Or, better put, a more eye popping experience than what was more than adequately delivered in the 2D version. Do not spend the extra money for the 3D version of this wonderful film. The multiple dimensions of all the great characters and the heart warming stories of friendship, loyalty and the meaning of true commitment are marvelously delivered in 2D. In fact, the required 3D glasses tended to get in the way and cloud what is already a bright sunny experience.

This movie stays with you. The characters and the situation are meaningful (if Mr. Potato Head can be meaningful), and touching. We loved it. Both senior citizens who played with a slinky toy, Mr. Potato Head, Barbies. It was a time when toys and dolls were something that stayed until one day, we grew up. BUT, they still meant and mean something to us. We can still remember what we called our dolls and the clothing that they wore. We were cute little girls. I think this story will touch everybody from 5 to 500. (Well, maybe not that old...) I hate the way the "Action links" pops up when you try to order tickets, or write a review and your cursor gets near that Toy Story link. I wouldn't get any one of them just because of that pop up by the way. Movie tickets complaint, not the movie.

I took my almost 3 year old to his first movie and we had a blast. He cried at the incinerator scene and I thought some of the fist fighting was a bit much. They've done it again! Another entertaining, funny, touching, sure-to-be classic animated film. We enjoyed with our two kids ages 7 & 9. Everyone thought it was a terrific movie and look forward to seeing it again when it comes out in DVD. Definitely would recommend! Why can't all animated family movies be this good?? It has everything--Pixar makes it look so easy..I can't say enough good things about it--great for everyone from 4 to104 yrs old! I laughed, I cried and enjoyed it tremendously.

This was a super movie for the whole family. It was funny all throughout. It made you not only laugh but cry too. The parts you cry at aren't sad, but they are so moving and it's so sweet. I highly recommend any and all ages to see this movie and I think it's the best of all the Toy Story movies.

Went with my 5 year old and three 9 year old boys - everyone agreed that this was an AWESOME movie! Lots of funny moments, great humor for all ages, but some action and drama, too. Definitely needed tissues at the end! LOVE IT!
