Heath Ledger's performace isn't the only stellar actor in this film. Aaron Eckhart's performance is truly a welcome surprise-Outstanding, Bravo!! I hope both Heath & Aaron get recognize by the academy. Micheal, Morgan and Gary, love them & their work. They never fail to disappoint me. Stellar cast all around. Now on to the film, Absolutely amazing cinematography and the IMAX action scenes, nothing was lost or hard to see. Without giving away any part of the film-Not only is the villian the Joker but his methods of using Gotham City citizens's fears, anger and love of those closest to them to create his own little world of anarchy just to prove a point... is nothing less than brilliant!!! Did Bob and Christopher take Sociology in college?! The only downside to this film happened at the end, the music was extremely loud , therefore drowning out Oldman's Commissioner Gordon's voiceover. Yes, for those us that stayed until the credits were over-no additional scene. There were plenty of disappointed aahh. With this movie, you will not be disappointed-I can definately promise you that. Let's put a smile on that face!

As a fan of "campy" batman, I went in skeptical. I was blown away. This was a beautiful epic. Just when you think it is wrapping up, it has just begun. There is a LOT of foreshadowing, so Batfans should not make the mistake of worrying about "predictability" . Instead, feel smug that you know things that your friends don't. When it is made obvious, don't spoil their surprise either. Just relax and enjoy the ride.

This is an awesome movie. One of the best films I've ever seen. Heath Ledger rules! The only thing I didn't like was that IMAX gave us assigned seating. I was there 30 mins early and it didn't matter and they gave me a seat on the end. Was not too happy about that.

DK is excellent! Loved every minute. It is truly a sad thing that Mr. Ledger is no longer with us. DK is definitely his movie. Any film that can flip an 18-wheeler and not use CGI for it has my vote!

I watched this movie at the imax theater at the Bridge in LA... my first real movie in imax. I can honestly say that the experience was INTENSE. The movie was outsanding and Heath's performance really stole the show from everyone else... his acting was just phenomenal and very scary. We're so worried about suicide bombers in Iraq and here at home.. but at least they have a purpose... what if we had a suicide mastermind who DIDN'T have any purpose other than to cause complete chaos? Some of my friends thought that the movie was a bit "preachy" but I found it to be extremely provoking. What would YOU do if you were forced to choose between your life and someone else's? GO SEE THIS MOVIE and if you can SEE IT IN IMAX!

This was the first batman I have seen that was rooted in reality. All the toys really worked and the villains were as sadistic and deranged as real killers would be. This really was the DARK Knight! I loved it. The psychology involved in the characters was great. Above all, the acting was unbelievable. In IMAX, you almost felt like you were going to fall into the screen. Can't wait to see it again. Just get there really early! I thought 30 minutes would be enough since it has been out a week already. Wrong.

I will say that I have usually been a Marvel fan and after seeing Iron Man and all three Spidermans, I did not think that a super hero film could get anymore character driven, I was wrong. This is one of the must see movies of the year. The performances were spot on and like Iron Man had enough realism to blur the lines between reality and fiction. The personal journeys that the characters take throughtout the movie are believable especially Harvey Dent. The special effects for Two Face alone are worth the price of admission let alone Heath Ledgers portrayal of the Joker which is by far the best portrayal ever.

See it in IMAX. I love that instead of painting Gotham as dark with comical architecture, Nolan managed to use the IMAX format to make Gotham real, yet capture a clinical starkness of the urban environment that represents Gotham. The acting was fantastic, with Heath Ledger putting in a most tremendous performance. Bale, Oldman and Freeman were spot on too. The bat-tech goodies, action and special effects did not disappoint. The movie truly delivered.

The Dark Knight follows the graphic novels to a tee! It is dark, edgy, chaotic and dispels our childish notion that all bad is bad and all good is good. Seeing the movie in IMAX exceeded expectations. To see Hong Kong, and parts of Gotham (Chicago) on full resolution on the big screen too my breath away. Oh and yes, the performances were legendary.

I had heard this was good, but it really stands up to all the reviews. I was worried that all the talk about Heath Ledger getting an Oscar for his performance was more of a sympathy vote, but not at all. I think Heath's Joker was probably the best performance I've seen in a long time.

I have to say seeing this movie in IMAX made the experience even better. Tremendous visuals make this movie feel cool throughout. The hype around Joker (Heath Ledger) is not overated in fact he may be forever remembered as the only Joker. I can't see how anyone could ever top his character even Jack Nicholson if you can believe that. Overall the movie just hits on so many levels of greatness. I would say this is the 2nd best action pic next to Transformers for me. It blows away Spider Man and I think the Christian Bale Era of Batman makes the previous Bat Flicks look cheesey. Lay out the extra few dollars and enjoy this one at an IMAX. One other thing IMAX gives assigned seats so if you want to see a movie and want good seats plan ahead a few days in advance. If you wait you will be front row looking up for 2 hours.

The movie was put together well from top to bottom. The cast, the writing, the plot, the special effect, the musical score; everything was chosen and executed in an extraordinary way. Needless to say (because everybody and their mother already has) Heath Ledger's performance was incredible as was everybody else's. The film was packed with action but had much more depth than just the glamor of explosions and violence. At most times I wasn't sure whether to gasp in horror or amazement or to laugh at the irony. After all the hype, it somehow did not disappoint.

I saw it IMAX last night and, while the IMAX didn't enhance the film as much as I'd expected, the Dark Knight definitely gets better with repeated viewings. If you haven't seen it yet, what the heck are you waiting for???

Heath Ledger delivered a performance I have not seen duplicated since the acting of Marlin Brando. This movie leaves you with chills just thinking about characters in this world that truely have no motives but to see this world burn. I have seen this movie 3 times and would recommend it to everyone.
