As a fan of the book series, I was very pleased with the movie. It was quite true to the book, with a couple of small exceptions. As another reviewer has said, I think you need to have read the books, or you might get lost a bit during the movie. In that respect, it's rather like the Harry Potter movies - which I also LOVE!

This movie kept me on the edge of my seat. What an amazing job by Heath Ledger. Excellent acting, great story, super action! I LOVED IT!
