I went into this movie hoping for that movie I would talk about to all of my friends. It was good but it is not the Blockbuster Must See Movie it is being built up as by the previews etc. This reminded me alot of E.T. and Stand By Me. I liked the way the story was told and the CGI effects especially the train crash were awesome. Very predictable ending and I just felt like this movie was missing something. I liked it I thought it was "Good" but not really a "Great" flick.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have seen this movie 2 times once in a regular stadium theatre and once in IMAX. It's almost like seeing a totally different movie because of the special effects added to shifts in the dreams or breakdowns. I watch alot of movies and this one is one that I can't get enough of. Great story, interesting characters, very cool special effects, and a very original idea. The ending was great and this is a movie I tell everyone to go see when they ask me. Spend the extra few bucks and see this movie in IMAX it just takes it to the next level. When asked what it's like I can't think of another movie like it. It's like Matrix meets the Butterfly Effect. One of the top 10 movies I've ever seen.

This is a really good date night movie. They cast the right people in this movie so you quickly identify with someone which makes it even funnier if you are married or have kids. It had the right amount of laughs to carry you through the movie I thought it was really good. I would suggest bringing a few couples to this one for an even bettter night out.

Seriously Good Movie

I have to say seeing this movie in IMAX made the experience even better. Tremendous visuals make this movie feel cool throughout. The hype around Joker (Heath Ledger) is not overated in fact he may be forever remembered as the only Joker. I can't see how anyone could ever top his character even Jack Nicholson if you can believe that. Overall the movie just hits on so many levels of greatness. I would say this is the 2nd best action pic next to Transformers for me. It blows away Spider Man and I think the Christian Bale Era of Batman makes the previous Bat Flicks look cheesey. Lay out the extra few dollars and enjoy this one at an IMAX. One other thing IMAX gives assigned seats so if you want to see a movie and want good seats plan ahead a few days in advance. If you wait you will be front row looking up for 2 hours.
