The movie was very well put together. Even with the slight changes, it was still amazingly awesome!!!I loved it!!!!!!!!!Of course, movies that are adapted from a book arent always as good but twilight was very very very close! AWESOME JOB SUMMIT!!!!

I took my husband, brothers-in law, and their girlfriends with me to see Twilight and I got mixed responses. I absolutely loved it!!! I read all the books. My one girlfriend who hasn't read it was totally into the romance and and the chemistry Bella and Edward had. So give it a shot even if you might be skeptical. Who knows, your romantic side might sneak out!

I've read all of the book series and I went into the movie, thinking that it was going to be awful. it wasn't. It summed up the book well and left the ending in a perfect position for the sequel - if it's going to happen.
The acting was fine - at first I didn't agree with the casting, but they all did a good job - considering all of the hype for the characters that they had to live up to. The direction was also fine, not great but not bad and the camera work was pretty good, not too shaky or unfocused, which is what I'm seeing more and more up of lately.

If you love the books you will absolutely love the movie. Edward in one word is "HOT!" and the chemistry between Kristen & Robert is great. I wanted more when the moview was over. I have already see it twice. I can't wait for the sequel. Great Job!

I enjoyed this movie because Edward (Robert Pattinson) is freakin' hot and just fun to watch...lol, but the book is much richer and more sensual than the movie. I will definitely watch the sequals.

The acting was spot one, & it was well written. I thought the cinematography excellent. The chemistry between Kristen & Rob was sincere. I thought, however, the movie was better when the director allowed the actors to express their emotions without cheesy face close ups. I would also like to point out that this series of books is somewhat similar to 'The Vampire Diaries' series, written by L. J. Smith, published over a decade before this series was released. Those novels are now in print again, for anyone who is interested.

The movie was too short. Anyone who has read the book can feel the love between Bella and Edward but the movie doesnt even come close to emphasizing their love for each other. I went to the movie with someone who hasnt read the books and he walked away so confused. Honestly it could have been done so much better.

I personally would of enjoyed the movie alot more minus the giggling teenagers! I plan to watch it again when it comes out on video, but overall I was a little disappointed. I'm not happy with who they picked to play Edward at all! And what was with Jasper...why did they had him walking around looking like he was constipated! All the other characters I was relatively happy with who they picked to portray them. I thought the movie moved really fast, and I wished they would of focused more on how Bella and Edward's relationship developed. I also felt like some of the scenes were rather out of place in comparison to the book. I felt like the movie didn't even come close to doing the book justice.

As someone who read all four books and absolutely LOVES the series, I'm extremely sad to say that I was a disappointed by the movie. I think my expectations were just too high. I honestly can't remember the last time I was so excited to see a movie in the theater. Unfortunately the actors delivery just wasn't that great, and the overall length of the movie was just too short. Most of the key scenes felt rushed, and they left out some of the best things from the book. :-(

The casting was excellent ...everyone fits the description of Stephanie's characters to a tee! Do not get me wrong.....the movie was good but it was lacking in some pretty important things!! This is a book that took me by surprise with its heartfelt rendition of young forbidden love! Some of that was lost in translation. But overall it was enjoyable...this is although a movie that I am so glad that I read the book first. For those who have not they may lose interest and not read the book at all...and that would be a true shame because the printed page is where the magic lies on this one!

A large group from work, varying in age went together to see this movie after we had read the books and we are thrilled to say we ALL loved it. We went knowing that this was not about sex and gore, it's about old fashioned romance, good vs evil, and true love. You can't do better than that. The actors were true to their characters, it stuck very close to the book and for the small budget they had, the special effects were great. Author, director and cast should be proud. Thanks, we can't wait until New Moon! Me AND my daughter!

I liked the movie and want to see it again! But it did not go with the book enough. I know they had to shorten it due to time, but small details could have been fixed (like colors of rooms and types of cars). A MUST see movie: for anyone who has or has not read the book.

I went in thinking I was going to hate it because I knew it wouldn't do the book justice. I think it did better than I thought it would, but it still messed the book up. If you didn't read the book, there's a lot of unexplained information thrown at you. The scenes seemed to jump a lot with nothing smoothing the transition. It skipped a lot of important information and it messed up the characters (didn't do Jasper or Edward any justice). But, again it was better then I expected so I'd still recommend it.

Loved book/hated movie. Bella – fabulous, physical choices of actors decent except Edward and Rosalie (not breathtaking). Jasper - HORRIBLE (stupid, dazed, "duh" look) & Edward – HORRIBLE during intense moments (e.g.,. first scene w/Bella in lab - hysterical!). Overall look of Cullens over the top - Edwards lips (too red), Alice’s & Carlisle’s hair (too fake). LOVED Edward’s skin in the sunlight. Jacob -- hotter as he ages -- white teeth, wow -- & love those canines...). I wonder if movie was better for people who hadn't read the book (I like Harry Potter movies). Overall, this was a huge disappointment for me & didn’t get close to showing the intense/soulmate love Edward & Bella have for each other.

Stephanie Meyer is not only one of the best writers I've read, but truly brings her characters alive on screen! She even has a cameo appearance in the diner. A few differences emerge such as Bella never cooks in the movie, but it all contributes to the overall point of the story and Stephanie's beauty in the book shines through in the nature used in the film. I hope, hope, hope that they will make all of the Twilight books and then proceed to make "The Host" into a film as well. Keep writing Stephanie, and keep making these all consuming films! I can't wait to see it again and read it again. Please finish Midnight Sun and write more Bella-Edward-Renesme books!

As many have said before me, I also knew that the movie would not be as good as the book. My only complaint would be the flow from scene to scene. I felt that it didn't connect well and if someone who didn't read the book was watching they might have gotten lost at some parts of the movie. Now don't get me wrong everyone looked hot and there were lines from the book in the movie but I just think it could have flowed better! And also what happened to the meadow scene?! My favorite part of the book was not portrayed the way I invisioned it would. I think that scene really disappointed me! But overall I thought it was a good rendition of Twilight!

I was disappointed with the movie. They focused on the major events in the book but there was no content. If you had not read the book it would have been pretty hard to follow. The actors didn't seem to even like each other. Not up to expectations.

I love this movie!!! My daughter also saw it with me and she's been asking when are we going to see it again. We've read the books, and though parts are different, it has to be because it's a movie. We also wished it to be longer. I think it could have been 3 hours and still been great!!!!! Can't wait for New Moon.

The acting was horrible and half the cast should have been re-casted. Wasn't Alice supposed to be small and the James charachter was completely lame! There should have been more Bella internal dialouge. There was only one real moment between Bella and Edward and then everything else was a pathetic attempt at creating a cohesive story. And where was the music. The author has amazing taste where was it in the movie. That could have helped a lot to make this better. It was like it was done by a first time director and should be re-done. I love Bella and Edward but this was a sad expierence. I would tell people just stick with the books it is a much better expierence.

My daughter and I went to see Twilight on Saturday, I have never been so entertained by a vampire movie. Robert Pattinson was an incredible Edward, I could just see the steam coming off him with Bella. But I must admit I did miss seeing the Biology where the class was typing blood. But the fan blowing Bella's scent was a total hit. I am looking forward to watching it again very soon. And I will be looking forward to the release of the dvd and book 2 in the future.

Read all 4 books in 8days, so expected the movie to be awesome! It was! I'm hooked! Was a bit disappointed that it deviated so much from the book, though. Edward was portrayed as an idiot in some scenes- never that way in book. Bella wasn't clumsy enough or portrayed as the danger magnet she is, giving Edward the need to keep her alive. Bella meets Jacob for 1st time at beach when Jacob tells story about warewolves and vampires that leads to the next book. The Quileutes never breached their contract with Cullens by writing book about the "cold ones". High school kids didn't usually all run in same circle & characters were lacking. 3 vampires weren't on killing spree. No mill & no deaths.
