I loved the movie. I watched it 3 days in a row. I went into seeing the movie with an open mind bc I knew it couldn't be exactly like the book (come on 500 pgs!). I fell in love with Edward everytime. Loved the baseball and fight scenes. Loved Robs songs in the movie. Can't wait to see more of the other Cullens! They were hysterical!!

I haven't read the books and I saw it twice; it still moved my heart. The story keeps moving, make you laugh and keeps you in suspense. The chemistry between the two actors are great and I hope they stay the same if they film the rest of the book series, otherwise I don't think it will make it.

Well, first off, I didnt know about the Stephenie Meyer Books until a couple of months ago, from my cousins. Then, I ended up reading all four books in the series. They were great. The movie was great. But of course, there were some important points missing from the movie that were in the book. That's all book to movie conversions though. All in all, it's fun to watch, not too sappy, and had its fair amount of action and effects. 2 Thumbs up!

I thought the movie was okay. For viewers who had not read the book, they would be lost. It lacked details.There was too much book to cram into a 2 hour movie. I realize it must be difficult to act out the depth of the emotion that Stephanie Meyers writes. Kudos to Kristen Stewart. Her portrayal of Bella was perfect .
And altho my daughter raved over the movie, I couldn't fit Robert Pattinson into the role of Edward. I agree he's a cutie, but he should have kept his normal accent. After all, Edward was in London when Carlisle turned him. The reader assumes he's British.
Over all, with movies made from books, the book is definitely better. Kudos to Ms. Meyers for having such a wonderful imagination.

I loved this movie. This movie had a really good love story. It wasn't boring or dull at any times. It had a great sence of humor as well. I would recommend this to my friends, and family.
I haven't read the book, and I've heard the book is way better, but i think it was a great idea of what the movie is about and makes me want to read the book.

I've read the whole book series and was excited to see the movie. I was a little disappointed that things got left out, but with only a 2 hour time frame that's expected. I would suggest reading the books first you have more of a idea of whats going on!! I'm going to see it again with my 11 year old daughter!!! Can't wait for the next movie!!!

Well at first the only reason i saw this was movie was because my girlfriend really wanted to soo i said to my self ok this should not hurt at all so i went along and saw it with her.. The Acting the special effects and well just about every detail was VERY well put together. I would recommend this movie to anyone because usually i dont prefer these type of movies im usually a action movie fan but overall it was a awsome movie

i thought the characters were picked very well except for laurent not how i pictured him. it went a little fast through some stuff that the book took more time on but that is to be expected. i think the movie was great!!!

Read all the Twilight books and loved them so much!I knew right away before I saw the movie that it wasn't going to be up to the book standards.I think that the story was pretty close.I read the first book again just to compare the two and I was surprised.I do agree that it was a little rushed. I certainly didn't think that the other characters were that good.Alice seemed bored and not like the Alice in the book.Carlisle was too overdone with the blond hair-I think they should have chosen somebody naturally blond.And none of the acting was very good.BUT, Bella and Edward were perfect!I think the two actors they chose to play the roles, although not perfect, had great chemistry together.They made the story more real.

I have read all the books in the Twilight Series and was happy with the movie. I would have to say that the special effects and make up do need work. As someone who read the books and liked the books I really liked the movie. I hear that they are going to be making more movies in the Twilight series; I do hope they get another make up person and do a better job on the special effects in the next ones.

Twilight was Fan-freaken-tastic, I loved it. The actors did a great job, and it may not follow the book all the way but it was still great, everything was there. Any one who has read the book should go see the movie, you will love it.

I truly loved this movie. It was so true to the story and I love that they used lines from the book. People say Edward was too scary but that is the way he is supposed to appear to others. I loved the chemistry and the whole thing. Don't hate on it, it wasn't going to be perfect, but it was great for me. I can't wait for new moon

I have read all 4 books in the Twilight saga and I think that the movie left out a few minor details that play a big part in the future movies. I still encourage people to actually read the book, being that like harry potter films, you don't get the full story. On the other hand i think the movie was AWESOME and intend to watch it again this weekend. lol

I think that too many people were expecting this movie to be just like the book... That's impossible. But I love Bella and Edwards story and I like how it was put on the screen. I do admit that it seemed a little fast but I still very much enjoyed this movie.

It's very simple. The movie was very mediocre but the fangurlz will love it. It follows the book exactly, and I'm shocked that a movie that moves as fast as this one did could be so very boring. I was bored the entire time, except during the sparkle scene when I thought I was going to laugh myself hoarse. The whole movie was anticlimactic. Even when they had a chance to nail a scene they didn't.
It could have been a lot worse, and like I said, the fangurlz will be in heaven. It wasn't an Epic Fail (like Breaking Dawn was) but it certainly wasn't a win. Skip this one.

I have read all 4 books + I've seen Twilight 6 times! I was blown away by Rob's portrayal of Edward! I was really impressed with the all the casting. Billy added comedy and vulnerability 2 Charlie. Kellan is absolutely how I picture Emmett, physically + personality. I was disappointed that the close relationship between Edward + Alice wasn't portrayed and Jasper's (empathic) gift wasn't used or talked about; the Cullen's change in eye color isn't explained for non readers; Bella + Edward didn't say I love you; Edward's dazzle wasn't explained. I LOVED the cinematography! The baseball scene is the BEST and one of the reasons I keep going back! Ashley is perfect as Alice and I hope that ALL her scenes with Bella + Charlie are used 4 New Moon.

I really thought the movie followed the book fairly well. There were a few things that were left out but not enough to really matter. Besides most everyone has read the books too so they already know this information any way. I took my 15 year old daughter and 5 of her friends to see it. They all loved it too!! I liked the idea that it showed you can have a very close relationship with someone while still showing some restraint.

I have read all of the books three times, yes I am obsessed!! I really loved the movie, I have seen it twice!! The first time was opening night at midnight and I was so excited that I think my anticipation got the best of me. The second time was even better. Edward Cullen is the hottest vampire ever !! This is a fairly tale at it's finest

The books are extremely addicting, i have read the whole series about 4 times over and am probably going to keep re-reading them. The actors for each character fit pretty well. It's is really hard to depict the pain that Edward is going through being near Bella, that was one of my only problems in the movie. The facial expressions by the vampires confused me a little. But after watching the movie and thinking it over i realised that the producer did a reall really good job. I'd say it one of the Best Movies of the Year w/ Batman 2

If you go into Twilight realizing that it's not the book, but a movie, you will LOVE it! There were some issues I had with the movie, but I still loved it for what it was. I was surprised how good Charile and Mike were! They brought a lot of humor to the movie. Rob IS Edward! All and all, very entertaining. Bring on New Moon!

I am in the process of reading the books and I loved this movie. They had to shorten the book to make it a movie so obviously things were missing from the movie. The acting was incredible and the relationship between Bella and Edward was clearly portrayed. I am seeing the movie again and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a good love story.

As a 30 something female that has just finished the first book, the movie had several let downs for me personally. When reading the book from an adult's perspective, it is easy to imagine the story line in more dramatic and sinister way, to liken the characters to more of those in an "Interview with a Vampire". I felt like other reviewers that some of the details that made the book believable and great, were not explored fully enough. The characters of Alice and Jacob were not as fully developed as I would of hoped. As a movie as a whole, I think it delivered to the crowd it was designed to server - tweens. I am glad I went see the movie, but would love to see a more adult version with more intensity.

This movie followed the info in the book but not when and where it happened... So for this movie you need to think outside the box and don't think you know what to expect. It is a deep movie and shows a new kind of love at first sight. I loved the movie and i would totally tell everyone to see this movie if you have read the books or not.

I love this movie so much that I've seen it twice and will be going to see it again this weekend. I loved the book series so much that I've read them twice back to back. Now that I've since the movie I'll be reading the series again and again. I just can't get enough of Edward and Bella. TEAM EDWARD ALL THE WAY!!! If you want to see the best love story ever watch the movie and reading the books makes the love story better!!!!
