I went with my bf because I like action movies BUT I knew very little about Star Trek. I liked this movie because it explained where the "crew" came from and it was very entertaining. The special effects were awesome and I think J.J. Abrams did a great job!!! I love one his shows right now so I figured why not see his movie? Glad I did, way worth it!

Really Good Movie

Liked the movie a lot. Not nearly as funny as "Superbad" but the movie was definitely more real life than comedy. You really get to know the characters. Liked the story a lot.

Like the movie a lot, thought all of the actors did an amazing job. A few loose ties at the end, but that just made the movie more realistic. It was a very heartfelt movie, which deals with some trials in life that either make you or break you.

I read the script and the movie was dead on...Great direction from from the director! Some of the actors were a little off but that's because they are young! Other than that I loved the movie!! Go see!

Loved the Movie

I thought it was awesome! It was like the SATC episodes, but a really long one. It definitely had some slow parts but all of them weren't that long, and I felt they were necessary for the story! If you love SATC, then you'll either like the movie a lot or love it like I did.
