It's very simple. The movie was very mediocre but the fangurlz will love it. It follows the book exactly, and I'm shocked that a movie that moves as fast as this one did could be so very boring. I was bored the entire time, except during the sparkle scene when I thought I was going to laugh myself hoarse. The whole movie was anticlimactic. Even when they had a chance to nail a scene they didn't.
It could have been a lot worse, and like I said, the fangurlz will be in heaven. It wasn't an Epic Fail (like Breaking Dawn was) but it certainly wasn't a win. Skip this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I was fairly excited about this movie. The previews looked so great! But as often happens- the previews held most of the fun. The first half was fun... then it just got kind of slow and tedious.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

One Bad@ss Movie

I went and saw The Dark Knight at a midnight showing when it was released. It was REMARKABLE. I'm not usually all that interested in action/superhero type movies, and I was captivated the entire time. I couldn't look away. Surprises come at you from every direction, it's visually stunning and it just never, ever drags- despite it's length.
Ledger delivered an unforgettable performance. Chilling at times, always amazingly committed to the role, it was a performance that he will always be remembered for.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
