I saw Twilight today and it ws AMAZING! I would recommend reading the first book before seeing the movie though. A lot of things won't be understood unless you have. But all the actors did wonderful and there was a lot of funny parts. You could feel the strong bond between Bella and Edward. It was so great I'm seeing it again tomorrow!! =]

Twilight to me, was an AMAZING movie. It was what I hoped it would be. I was a HUGE fan of Harry Potter, and this beats it by far. Twilight is an amazing series, and if you haven't read the books, do so before seeing the movie, because there are parts that you will get only if you have read the actual book.
Pattinson and Stewart did a great job playing the characters, and i'm overall really glad for all the actors chosen for this movie. Each one prtrayed each character in a correct lighting, and thats what i love most about the movie. Thye brought Stephanie Meyer's characters' to life.

I loved Twilight! Saw it twice already! Went to the Midnight showing and again in the morning! A def must see for twilight lovers! If you havn't read the books, you better before you see the movie! As others have said, only a true Twilighter will understand and get certain things. I did agree with one fan, that said some of the movie did move too fast from one scene to the other... but I loved it regardless! Rob Pattinson is a must see on the big screen! His kisses look like they'd make my knees buckle! I love Twilight!

It was definitely worth waiting in line for two hours before with hundreds of other Twilight fans. I was not too fond of Pattinson playing Edward at first, but once I saw him in the movie, I fell in love with him. Definitely a MUST SEE, but READ THE BOOK FIRST!

After seeing Twilight I have to say that I'm very impressed! Summit has done a WONDERFUL job for this movie! If you have any doubts for this movie I think you should see it anyways. I feet that it was worth seeing. You don't really have to read the books to understand the movie. However, the book is in fact different from the movie in some ways. The Twilight books are a great series to read. I really hope that there will be a sequel to the movies just like the books. Again, I'm very very very impressed by Summit, and everyone involved in movie. Rob was an amazing actor and really made Edward come to life. Thank you so much to Summit and the actors to bringing Twilight to the movie screen!

Twilight the movie had several differences from the book, however the changes did not compromise the theme. Hardwick did a wonderful job of "trimming" down the book and hitting the highlights. I am struggling with the meadow scene, I which the reveal would have been more like the book, but again it worked. I am very hopefull about the possiblilty New Moon.

I absolutely love the twilight and harry potter books! With the experience of disappointment from the harry potter movies i was prepared for twilight to be a less than perfect translation from book to film- and that helped with how i felt about the movie. Some really great scenes from the book didn't make it to the movie, and it moved along too quickly. The true essance of Edward and Bella's love for one another wasn't justified completely but if you've read the book BEFORE seeing the movie you understand anyway, so it doesn't matter so much.

I have heard my friends at work talk about how much they love the books and they even loaned me the first book insisting I should read it. I never really had the desire to read it, but I went to the midnight show with them last night, not knowing what to expect, I ended up loving the movie! And the first thing I wanted to do when the movie was over was go buy the books! It's so hard to take you eyes off edward, he is soo incredibly hot! I hope they make the rest of the movies!

I was saddened, This movie was poorly acted and made on a low budget. There was a lot from the book missing and it could have and should have been so much better. Was really hoping it would be as good as the book and it just fell short. It was a bit boring and flat at times.

ok so i agree with the person who said that you should read the book.. because there are parts that you wont understand .... and i also agree that it went a little too fast for me... but other then that that movie was AWESOME!!! i was like giggling and shrieking the whole time!!!! and even my mom, who didnt even get why i was so excited was like on her toes during the Edward- James scene! lol

Twilight the movie is similar to the book, but diifers in all the right ways. Although the movie was amazing, I felt as if the the storyline moved too quickly. Many romantic parts in the book were lost in the action of the movie. Catherine Hardwicke worked her magic by including detailed fight scene and love connection. Basically the movies outcome was based on how much passion,thought, and work was put into this movie to make it close to how good the book was/is. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were the perfect roles for this film, and had wonderful chemistry.
Overall, this movie was excellent and I would definintly recomend it to anyone who likes action, romance, and vampires!! :)

Being an avid 'twilight-er', there was no question that i was planning to see the movie. the acting and general direction of the movie was not so great. if you have read the books, you will agree when i say that edward and bella's relationship is very sensual. they have conversations about everything, and are very drawn to eachother. the movie could have better explained the relationship they share, rather than implying that bella and edward became completely obsessed with each other one stare. of course, they both had a mutual attraction, but it was one that took time like any relationship. in essence, i'm trying to say that their 'on screen relationship' moved very fast. in the book it took them forever to just kiss!

I absolutely Loved it! I felt that even if you did not read the books, the phrasing and feeling evoked was still the same as a person who has read it. Robert Pattinson did a phenomenal job as Edward Cullen, and I also like Charlie's character a lot. Of course things are different than the book, and I still recommend that to friends, but if you want a romance film, this is for you.

The movie was beyond excellent. I only wish they had put in all of the little details of Bella and Edward's love story. For example: When Bella faints and Edward carries her to the nurse, or when he says " If i could dream at all, i would dream of you." Or when he walks her to p.e every day after Biology and he would touch her cheek. I just think they rushed into their relationship a little too fast. But either way, I LOVED TWILIGHT!!!!

I am 39 and a married dad of a 16 yo girl and a 12 yo boy. Our whole family saw this at the Premire and we loved it. We didn't like that some of the story (from the book) wasn't well discussed, such as "her" lullaby, but the rest was great. I have read the books, as has my daughter, and my son is working on them. We all thought that it was great, even my wife. However, she did not get some of the "back stories" because of not knowing the books. it is still a great film even without reading the books, but it is that much better with the full experience of all of the text.

Soooo good!!! Totally worth seeing!! If you haven't read the book it could be choppy. The movie moves quickly and loses some of the intensity of the book. The good news is there are three other books to turn into movies and they are bound to get better each time. The new Harry Potter's are definitely better than the first as the actors get to know their character better. So the future movie's should get better and better. Read the book then go see the movie!

I thought it was a pretty good movie i would go see it again but alot of parts were taken out...some parts tht i thought were very important and it moved way to quickly it seemed like they didnt even have time to actually build the relationship they actually have in the book....I wish they wouldnt have cut out so many parts and switched it around but over all it was a pretty good movie but it most def. could have been better!

I think this movie is very disapointing. Coming from someone who really enjoyed the books, I really expected more. I think the actors were appropriately chosen and had the potential to be very good. I also think they were not given enough direction or coaching. My biggest quam would be that the screen writers totally missed some very key undercurrents of the book, and focused too much on comedy and downplayed the drama. The comedic relief was good, but without the drama it served no purpose.

I've read the books. I wasn't a very big fan of them because I had heard everything about them and went into the books with high expectations. They were okay, but I didn't think the hype surrounding Twilight was deserved. I didn't have high hopes for the movies.
The movie, though, exceeded my expectations. I thought it was better than the book because they had trimmed out the unnecessary fluff and whining that Bella was so prone to.
If you go in with an open mind and realize that you aren't going in there to see the book on screen but rather a film, you'll enjoy it. The cinematography is edgy, the script is fantastic and very funny, and despite reviews, Kristen and Robert have a ton of innocent chemistry.

Just went and seen this movie the first day it came out. We were supposed to go see Eagle Eye but it messed up so we went over and watched this. I was surprised. I didn't even want to leave to go the bathroom. I left the theatre happy.

im a 16 year old and i love the TWILIGHT series. i cant live without them. first of all, Jacob and Edward were very SEXY and whoa was i impressed. the only bad thing was the movie moved so quick and i wanted to really see how the wolf pack would look like. the whole time Jacob and Edward were sooo beautiful. it was funny and please read the book so you can get it. but Edward looks too good for Bella, no offense to any bella fans out there!<3 peace watch the moviee soo great!!!=]

The books make you feel every feeling, every move Bella and Edward make. I thought this was a very daunt task to have to take on for the big screen. But, wow, I felt everything and more! I walked out of the theater literally speechless, replaying the movie over in my head, excited for the next time I would go see it, counting down the days until the DVD release. The actors did such a wonderful job portraying each person, really spectacular! A must see!

Twilight was full of action and awkward moments, like those between Edward and Charlie, but important bits were left out from the book that made Bella seem much less close to the Cullen family than she does in the books. There were also differences between the book and the movie that affect the dynamic of Bella and Edward's relationship in a very big way during an important decision for Edward. While so much was left out, the relationship between Bella and her mom was shown a lot better than it is in the books. Stephenie Meyer's cameo appearance is blatantly obvious, so don't worry about missing it. The movie was overall very good, but in comparison to the books it left a lot to be desired.

I went into Twilight expecting so much and I left going "omg they left that out and that and that and that"
Overall, the movie was amazing and Edward was so hot. However, Twilight is about Edward and Bella's love story and not the story line with the nomadic vampires. I think the filmmakers mixed that up.
I think the book was way better than the movie, but I still love it because it is TWILIGHT.
Don't kill me ladies, but Edward really should work on his stare downs. LOL.
Great film, but you must read the book first to get all the inside details.
