Overall, I'm happy with the film. The cinematography was beautiful, the actors were nicely chosen, and it went along with the book. One thing I didn't like was the score. Way too much background music when it was unnecessary. Also there were parts of the film that were portrayed as funny, that were supposed to be serious. There was no way any one in the theater could take Edward's first reactions to Bella seriously. But really I'm just being picky because I wanted so much for this film. I'm sure with a bigger budget and with actors that have settled into their roles, New Moon will be fantastic!

I thought that is was the first movie I've seen very accurate to a book. There were some scenes you could read along with the book to follow the scene. There were others that chopped 6 book scenes into one dynamic scene in the movie. I was okay with because it was still accurate. They cut a lot out, but not enough to destroy the beauty of the book. Harry Potter upset me off, because they left significant scenes out, changed a lot of dialogue and added stuff simply for visual sake. Twilight didn't do that at all. I think it satisfied the reader. I'm afraid it might not have done well to the person who hasn't read the book. Truly enjoyed it.

This movie was great! I wasn't even to my car and I had the urge to turn around and go see it again! I still want to go back and I probably will! Everything about it was great! It followed the book! Anything they added into the movie that wasn't in the book didn't take away from it at all, if anything it made it better! You won't be disappointed! Lots of fun!

I loved the books and the movie was very true to the book. The chemistry between Bella and Edward was electrifying. Edward is HOT and whether you are 17 or 77 you will love him and this story. The movie left me wanting more. I can't wait for New Moon!

At first, I was a little nervous about seeing the movie because I worried it would not do the book justice and I was worried it would be cheesy, but once the movie started, those worries faded. A few parts were a bit cheesy, but they did not ruin the effect of the movie at all for me. I loved the characters and the cinematography! I was a little worried about the original casting, but after seeing the movie, I think they did a great job. The movie was not exactly like the book, but I enjoyed some of the new "takes" that they decided to insert. I really enjoyed the movie and highly recommend it. It may be a bit confusing if you haven't read the book, but it was very entertaining and really brought the book to life!

This movie was amazing. If you loved the book, you'll love the movie. All my friends and I went to see it together, and it was well worth it. It wasn't perfect, but they did an excellent job with the movie.

I loved the movie I thought it followed the books great! Sure there's some parts of the book that you would hope would be in the movie (the whole finger pricking incident) but then you'd end up with a four hour long movie. Not that I would complain!! The actors were perfect for their parts I would definitely go see it again and again!!

For the true Twilight fan, this movie will not disappoint. for those that have not read the books, subtle nuances will be lost that really enhance the plot.
Certain scenes were verbatim dialogues, others were 'off'.
The baseball scene was played out to perfection! I also enjoyed Stefenie Meyer's cameo appearance in the cafe.
I found the love scenes to be well done and not 'over done' as many hollywood movies are.
All in all, I was very satisfied and I am excited for the next movie already!

Being a big fan of the Twilight books, I was prepared to love the movie. I did not. The director and/or screenwriter needed to focus less on action-packed moments and more on character development. Sticking closer to Meyer's plot might have helped. It was difficult, in the movie, to see why Bella and Edward's relationship was anything more than physical attraction. It was also disappointing to see so little of the other Cullen characters, especially Alice. Still, I appreciated some of the humorous moments, such as the Cullen family fixing a meal for Bella. And I know they didn't exactly have a Harry Potter budget. Maybe, NEW MOON will be better.

Ok, so I'm a HUGE fan of the series, and was super excited when I learned that Twilight was being made into a movie.
I saw it opening day(yesterday) and I've got to admit, it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be.
A LOT of important things that happened in the book, never happened in the movie. And a whole whole lot of things that never happened in the book went on.
If you haven't read the book, then I think you'll like it, although there's some things that you wont really understand. But if you've read the book, then you'll see how things were messed up.
Either way, I definitely recommended seeing this whether your a Twilight reader or not.

I think the movie was excellent. No, it didn't show many of the things that the book had but what movie does? Thats the point of reading the books, if you want to know what happens in great detail, then read the books. The movie hit all the good points in the book. I thought it was great. At first I thought it would dissapoint me but it totally didn't.

Anyone that read the Twilight Books will enjoy this adaptation of the movie. The screenplay stayed close to the book and the actors and actresses were spot on in their portrayals of the characters.
There are many great action scenes and plenty of suspense.

So i was really looking 4ward to this moive and i have to say it disappointed me. Many of my favorite scenes and lines were taking out. The movie was way to choppy and had no flow. I know they had only 2 hours but they could have fit more in if they took other non important parts out. The only reason i give it a 4 is because im in LOVE with the books and even though it disappointed me im still gunna watch it agian. BTW i fell in love with this Edward Cullen, but he still doesnt compare to the real Edward.

My 15 year old daughter loved it and has read the books also. Eric was her favorite in the movie and James matched his character from the book. Very Hot.

I felt the actors were casted perfectly. Granted I did cheat and see the trailer for this movie before I read the book, being aided by Hollywood's interpretation of them.
Robert Pattinson did an amazing job playing Edward. He was thin and lanky just as a Vampire on "the diet" should be and portrayed his anxiety of being around Bella marvelously. ONe scene in particular, when Bella walks into Biology right in front of a fan and then Edward immediately covering his nose. It came natural and my dear Robert was absolutely gorgeous and tender throughout.

The cinematography, lighting, and the artisitic look of the film was beautiful. Casting choices for Bella and Edward were much better than I feared. At first, we were distracted by the heavy-handed makeup on the vampires. But, that was soon forgotten as the chemistry between Edward and Bella intensified. Several details and nuances from the book were missing. Can't wait to see more of Jacob in the next one. Overall, we were happily lost in Forks for 2 hours. Respectable tribute to the book.

I loved it! They got the casting just right. The music was amazing. The chemistry between Bella and Edward, and even Jacob and Bella (dare I say) was white hot! Stewart is a perfect 'imperfect Bella.' Edward is brooding yet funny at the same time.
I was cringing a little at the "biting" moments...ie when Carlisle bit the family, and Edward extracted Bella's venom. Was a little cheesy for me.
I wish it would have been longer to acomodate more of the book, but I thought it stayed very true to the story and was very much like I pictured it should be. :)

Although it wasn't exactly as the book, no book turn movie ever is, I felt that it capture the book in the best possible way. Jasper was the funniest of all. I do believe however that if you have not read the book then you will not like the movie. I would definetly see this movie again.

I took a group of 12 and 13 year old girls that are in a "Twilight Book Club" to see this movie and they loved it. They said some things were different but they can't wait to see it again. It probably won't be as popular among the boys of this age group because it is more of a teenage chick flick.
As an adult that has not read the books, I found the movie entertaining.

Like I expected, this movie was much better than the book. On the other hand, it doesn't take much to be better than Meyer's awful stories.
The acting wasn't great, the directing was so so, the script was too much like the novel to make me like it.
I did laugh a bit, especially at Pattinson's look of constipation when Stewart walked into the Biology room, and also at the "diamond skin of a killer" bit.
Surprisingly, the best part of the movie for me was the Charlie/Billy friendship. They were also the best actors in the film.
The only people who would really like this film are the ones who are obsessed with the novel.

This movie was just amazing I loved the how they kept to the story line the characters writing in the book. The actors in my opinion did an awesome job. I so can not wait to see NEW MOON. Everything in the movie was just like you would imagine from the book. I would so DEFINELTY recommend this movie to anyone who have read and not read the book. It's an amazing movie. After reading all four of the twilight books, I was afraid of disapointment going to see the movie. Was I wrong. Yes, some stuff was different from the book, but I don't think that could be helped, with the short time and everything. I loved everything about it, and can't wait to see it again. The only bad thing was, now I can't wait to see the next one!!
