Like I expected, this movie was much better than the book. On the other hand, it doesn't take much to be better than Meyer's awful stories.
The acting wasn't great, the directing was so so, the script was too much like the novel to make me like it.
I did laugh a bit, especially at Pattinson's look of constipation when Stewart walked into the Biology room, and also at the "diamond skin of a killer" bit.
Surprisingly, the best part of the movie for me was the Charlie/Billy friendship. They were also the best actors in the film.
The only people who would really like this film are the ones who are obsessed with the novel.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
