I loved the books twilight and read them all very quickly. the movie was pretty good. The acting was good. The only problem is they left alot of the love scenes out and rushed the ones they had. To get to the fight scenes. The cullen family was barely in the movie at all not even Alice. Overall though it was alot better than I expected and the acting was very good.

Although it is not as good as the books are, it holds true to the books, and is amazing to see the world Stephenie Meyer created. I only wish that they showed Edward and Bella's feelings stronger for each other.

From the trailers, I expected awful lines, cheesy acting, and the like.
But the movie exceeded every single one of my expectations- it stayed true to the book. In fact, it really made me realize how hilarious some of the moments in the book were that I didn't realize were so funny before.
Really great to go see with your daughter. Nothing too violent or too sexy. The fight scenes were short and to the point, but still enthralling.

the movie was amazing. even though they changed some secnes and took others away it was pretty good. they added great new scenes and rob did a good job driving the car when he came and saved her at port angles. and of course the actors were great.also it had humor in most scenes.jasper was the most funniest.

Overall, good adaptation of the book. Some parts changed, but not done badly. Some parts filmed very well, others could have been more dramatic.

I was blown away from the minute the movie started. They followed the book as much as they could for a two hour movie. I think if you read the book first you left the theater satisfied. I can't wait for the next movie to come out! I know I'll be back to see this movie again very soon. I love watching Edward and Bella fall in Love.

hey people, im only 11, but listen please, it was a really good movie! It made me laugh at some parts, you would know why if you read the book. I think you would enjoy it more fully if you read the book first, because, considering how long the book is, there are some details left out.

I thought the movie was good. Decently close to the book, you can't expect to put a 600 page book into a 2 hour movie. Some of the facial expressions made by Edward were corny and made me laugh, even though it wasn't suppose to be funny. Kristen Stewart wasn't the best actress to play Bella, her mouth was really annoying looking throughout the whole movie. I hope that the movie makes a ton of money so the studio can put more money towards the next one. But it was good and I will probably see it again.

this movie was alot better than i'd expected it to be.
but at the same time, i'd wished for more.
i wish they would've stayed a little more true to the book and explained the story a bit more.
otherwise, it was hilarious and very touching.
i cried!
overall, it's Twilight.
i love it no matter what.

I have read the first book, and being a parent of two teens, was very familiar with all the near hysterical hype surrounding this film.
I went in, not really thinking I would fully enjoy it, and left pleasantly surprised at how much I did really enjoy the film.
Yes, there are some "cheesy" lines, and yes, the hype sometimes overpowered the actual film, but overall this was a great teen love story with a definite twist to it. I am actually looking forward to the other sequels to follow.

I liked it! But I was very disappointed with the screen writer moving through the story line and and not paying enough attention to details that wouldn't have been hard to fallow with the book! Kristen Stewart was horrible! She was not a good actress or fitting of Bella! Edward was good. James was probably the best actor in the movie if I had to pick one. I will go see it again! Cause they need to put more money into the next ones!!! Wow! They need our support!

Please read the book before you go see the movie. There were a few scenes added, that I feel didn't belong. They were unnecessary, should have put in the stuff they left out. The scene where Edward first walks in was amazing! Everyone sighed at that one. It did feel a little rushed to me, and you barely caught your breathe when they were at a totally different scene. Overall I did love it.

The movie was ok. Not great actors, some of the acting was a little cheesy. I have read all the books and loved them, If you haven"t read the books you would probably like it a whole lot more. I just got back from seeing Twilight with my husband & daughter. If you
read Twilight, there is no spoilers because it's exactly follows the book.
If you never read Twilight like my husband, it is very teen orientated &
very slow especially the beginning. I think because they wanted you to
really feel the love story developing between Edward & Bella. I whined
about the actor playing Edward, now I just love him. Bella was perfect.
Visually, it was a beautiful beautiful movie.
So bottom line, if you read & love Twilight, you will love it.
If you haven't read Twilight & are older than 18, you will think it will
never end <G> & was painfully slow.
I loved it LOL!!

Wonderful actors for every part. The chemistry between the actors was amazing! I do wonder if those who haven't read the book were able to

I'm a high school English teacher and fell in love with all of Stephenie Meyer's books when my students told me about them. Usually a movie never meets up to the expectations when a book is as good as Twilight. BUT this movie was FANTASTIC!!!! It was a great translation of the book, perfectly cast and I plan on seeing it many more times in the theater and buying the dvd when it's available. GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!

I tried not to get my hopes up for the film since I knew it wasn't going to be as good as the book, but it was still a disappointment. I didn't feel like there was any chemistry between the characters of Edward and Bella. It was such a choppy story on screen that I didn't feel like it did the story justice either. The lines in the book that were romantic and captivating just came out cheesy in the film! All in all, I think it was a let down.

I just read the entire series in less than two weeks and felt the plot followed the first book well. We all know that you cannot expect to squeeze in a 500 page novel into 2 hours but they did a heck of a wonderful job on this one. I loved the casting, Edward was perfect (hot but quirky), Bella had the teenage angst down, the Cullens where down right cool (no pun intended), Bella's dad was hilarious, and the action was all there. Can't wait to see what they do with the second one! Beautiful love story for all the romance lovers out there.

I did not read the book much to my 13 year old daughter's dislike, but I found the movie to be very good. I came home and immediately began reading the book. I can not wait for the next adaptation to come out next year.

I enjoyed the movie just as much as all the teenagers in the audience. Went the special midnight screening and again the next day. (probably won't be the last). This is someone who usually doesn't like the movie after reading the book for anything! Special effects were a little obvious, but their abilities are pretty amazing to bring to "real life". Chemistry was as good as promised. Can't wait for the next one!

After much anticipation and trailer watching I have to admit that I was a little disappointed. I feel that the movie would have been better if it had stayed truer to the story line of the book and spent less time panning on Edward and Bella's faces. I know this was a lower than usual budget movie for something of this nature but would it cost that much more for some depth, story line and acting? In my personal opinion I didn't feel like these actors did justice to the books very detailed characters or that this movie did any justice to the book. All in all it was a fair movie but it did leave me wanting. I hope they will step it up in the next film because quite honestly I can't watch four movies of panning faces via dramatic music.
