I was quite worried going into the movie theater. I was very disappointed in Goblet, happier with Order, but I had heard a few reviews about random scenes added to Half-Blood Prince. I am a die hard Potter fan, I've read all the books multiple times, and as much as I can understand that the movies are NOT the books, it's really hard to separate the two. But was really happy about the movie though. I loved it! It's funny, it's sad, and David Yates did a much better job this time, or investing the audience emotionally on what happens. Knowing what happens in the book, my biggest problem with the movie is that the ending is a little anticlimactic, but again, since Yates was so able to engross me into the emotional aspect, I can live with it.
Ok, I have to admit that I love Michael Bay movies. The action and explosions are always top notch. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was no different. Please don't expect an Academy worthy story, but that doesn't mean that it's not awesome and totally had me at the edge of my seat through the entire thing. Also, if you have the means to see the movie in IMAX, I highly recommend it. The sound and picture quality are amazing, I'm so spoiled now, I don't ever want to see a movie not in IMAX again. Go in expecting a good action movie, and come out totally hyped up on a awesome action movie. Enjoy!
Although it is not as good as the books are, it holds true to the books, and is amazing to see the world Stephenie Meyer created. I only wish that they showed Edward and Bella's feelings stronger for each other. I highly enjoyed the movie and I'm going to see it again!
