As a fan of the comics, I believe most of the changes they made they didn't even need. However, I am totally going to end up buying it because I just view all the comic movies as Alternate Universes and love them as such.

For those faithful readers of graphic novels...this was great! The history was dead on! The special effects were very well done and the surprises (no spoilers here) brought smiles to my face!
Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber played their roles superbly. For fans of Friday Night Lights, Taylor Kitsch, plays a great Gambit!
This movie has it all action, laughs, a few tears, but most of all, it will leave you wanting more....so much more!!!

Great movie. It had great visual effects, great characters, an interesting but not to complex plot, and enough X-men mythology to keep even hardcore fans happy. The fight scenes where incredibly well done. They didn't go overboard with the CG, and the fights where satisfying because they wheren't so outlandish that you couldn't suspend your disbeliefe. It was WAY better then all of the other X-Men movies because 1. it stayed to the story line, 2. It didnt cram too many characters in, and 3. DEAD POOL!!!

After reading the local reviews, I went into Wolverine ready to be disappointed. Long ago I read all of the comics, but I do not have them committed to memory anymore. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It has great action, which is why I go to see these movies, the storyline, in my opinion, does not impair the movie. The only thing I really cared about was how they were going to show the adamantium skeleton implant. Does it follow the Origins comics? Not really. If that is really important to you, stay home and read the comics, but you would be missing out on a movie that is a lot of fun.

I'm a huge fan of Marvel comics in general and I was very pleased by the movie. The action was great and the story was solid. My only real complaint is I hoped for more action from Gambit because he's one of my all time favorite mutants.

I was no surprise that this movie will be bad as all three before, but for what I was surprise is that though that it cannot be worst than the last one, but i guess i was wrong!.
The history is totally an invention fron the producers, the only thing that the movie have to do with the comics, is the name, the rest is all pure imagination from some dude!
I really get out fron the cinema so mad!!! if you like the X men a what it is! you'll probably would agree with me, and if you have no idea of what is X men, then may be you enjoy it, but let me tell you that this is not X men!!

Okay so what can I say other than WOW, you can take all the other X-Men movies and use them for toilet paper. I like how they wove all the different characters throughout the film, Hugh was awesome as usual, Ryan was unbelievable as Deadpool. By the way at the end that was not Deadpool! Check imdb you will see that wade wilson and weapon 11 are played by two different people strange isnt it. As well as there is a man in the second cyro tube at around 1:13:25 that looks alot like Wade wilson. So it is debated that weapon 11 could be wade wilsons clone.

If you are looking for a movie to kick off your Summer movies, this is the movie to see. Action packed from the beginning to the end. Only the director of Lost could to this movie justice with all the intense action packed scenes. Hugh Jackman brings Wolverine to life and does the X-Men justice. Great movie. If I had to rank all the X-men Movies, this would beat them all, of course, I am a Wolverine fan to begin with. This was well worth the wait!!!
This is one of the very few "Summer Blockbusters" that I would be able to watch over and over. Most just seemed way over hyped for what you got.

I'm a longtime Wolverine fan and I think Hugh Jackman has done a great job portraying him. He is great in this movie!!! Awesome cast! Every role portrayed well with some cool twists from the comics. Very entertaining. My wife thinks it was pretty cool and she even liked the fighting scenes. She is in special effects/motion graphics and says the movie effects were seamless. I've never heard her say that before.

First, I have to admit I’m a huge Marvel comics fan. So caveat emptor. Now the review:
Men Origins: Wolverine is the highly anticipated prequel to the X-Men series. It features a blade wielding, fast-healing, cigar-smoking hero whose solution to most problems involve cutting them to bloody ribbons.
It’s not the smartest action movie you're likely to see this summer, but it has got to be the loudest, flashiest, and in every respect, coolest to make its entry to the summer blockbuster arena.

Hugh Jackman did a fantastic job portraying Logan aka Wolverine. The movie depicted the story of Logan and how he became to be the notorious Wolverine we know today. I liked the cameo apperance of Patrick Stewart (Dr. Xavier) flying in to rescue the fugitive mutants. I wish they created a seperate movie on Dr. Xavier and how he became to be what he is today. There are alot of possibilities to expand on for each character and would be a gold mine to the movie studios.

I admit I went in with high expectations; I know what Jackman & Schreiber are capable of on screen AND stage.
I wasn't disappointed.
The 2 fiercely battled with an underlying, almost imperceptible affection. Perfect for their roles.
Schreiber as Victor tells an entire story with a quirk of his grin, just as Jackman's Logan does with a quirk of his brow.
Ryan Reynolds was a hilarious Wade. Will.i.am was a subdued but solid Wraith. I had reservations, but Taylor Kitsch was a fantastic Gambit - though I wanted more of a Cajun accent from him.
I was expecting the usual 'girlfriend' in Lynn Collins, but she gave a superb performance - her eyes were the windows to her character's soul.
Worth every penny.

Awsome!! There is so much to the Wolverine storyline. I think they did pretty well for a movie that could easily have been epic in length. A couple of creative liberties taken, but overall true to the original comic. I continue to have a hard time with so called professional critics. They never seem to get it. This movie is a good time......PERIOD!!!

I read a lot of reviews from many movie critics saying Wolverine was a terrible movie. I felt the exact opposite after watching it. The movie had a nice balance of action and emotion which was refreshing to say the least. Strong casting all around.

I went into this with really low expectations based on the critical reviews last week. I loved the other three movies and thought, oh well, what else am I going to do on a Friday night?
Boy were my husband and I surprised! We both LOVED this movie. I think the twists and turns of it were interesting. The script was good, the story line was an actual story line and with the exception of the gratuitious violence, we were thoroughly entertained and delighted that a fourth movie in this series was so good!
Compared to Star War's 4th movie (which actually was a huge disappointment), this was THE BOMB!
Can't wait for the next one!

I loved it!!
