Forget the controversies for a bit. My wife and I both enjoyed this movie. This is rare for us because we both like different types of movies. To see a performer behind the scenes, to see how he works with others and how others respond to him was truly inspiring. Of course, to each his own but I would recommend seeing it with an open mind.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I'm a longtime Wolverine fan and I think Hugh Jackman has done a great job portraying him. He is great in this movie!!! Awesome cast! Every role portrayed well with some cool twists from the comics. Very entertaining. My wife thinks it was pretty cool and she even liked the fighting scenes. She is in special effects/motion graphics and says the movie effects were seamless. I've never heard her say that before.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
