I thouroughly enjoyed X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I have been looking forward to it since I heard about it comming out, and I was not disapointed.
It did have a few issues, such as the effects in a few scenes not being up to par, but I can forgive that. Effects aren't what make a movie. There were also a few unfortunate plot holes, but they do not ditract from the movie too much.
Every movie has its faults, and there will always be haters, but I utterly enjoyed th movie, and I have loved X-Men since I was a kid. I watched the cartoon, have read the comics, and have seen all of the movies thus far. I wasn't disappointed, and I have and will continue to recomend it to everyone I know.

X Men Origins: Wolverine lays some great ground work for the first X Men movie to kick off from. Storywise, it stays well enough within the mythos, showing how old Logan really is as well as showing how his cynicism manifested itself, something even an admantium bullet couldn't get rid of. The only drawback from the film would fall in the fact that Gambit is actually a little younger than he was depicted. In addition, scenes that defined logan's relationships with other mutants were limited and could have possible seen more exploration. All in all, I would give the movie as a whole 4 out of 5 stars just for being a comic book fan.

A great pre-quel to the other three X-Men movies. You have to appreciate the storyline, but there is something here for everyone to enjoy. Definitely better if seen first in the theaters.

I thought "Victor" stole the show from Wolverine...Liev Shreiber was a fantastic villian and I loved him moving around like an animal, he was great! The backstory fit in really well with the rest of the movies, they did a good job with that one. I really liked Gambit too and the prequel on the other Xmen.

never knew how wolverine became who he was. This movie offered everything that a girl could love; violence, love, and cute guys. Really, I liked the fact that it gave the first glimpse to those who do not read the comics to find out how their favorite superheroes started out. Would recommend that everyone see this if they like X-men cant wait for the next one.

Wolverine, is a great action movie. The effects are great. I enjoyed seeing comic characters like DeadPool and Gambit on the big screen. I look forward to seeing them developed more in future X-Men movies. Jackman is outstanding as always.

if you've read some of the comics (Alpha Flight, Wolverine) you will be satisfied; if you haven't you may find this an excellent movie. i feel the movie was compromised a bit for a wider audience but i still enjoyed it. it could of have been longer and if they make another one please have Gambit work on his cajun accent!

This was a great action film. I did see the bootleg copy, but wanted to see the completed film. There was no comparison....the completed film was one of the best action films I have ever seen and gave you better insight into Wolverine's pain. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes action and a great storyline.

This was a great movie, full of action and more action. I am not a big fan of changing characters mid series, (i.e. Sabertooth) but Liev did a great job. I am also concerned about the storyline of the girlfriend of Wolverine. Why did he just leave her in the woods? It seems like they tested the movie and said...OOPS we need to do something different here. Overall, a somewhat believeable back story for Wolverine.

It was big bold and loud with the type of effects that make it worth seeing in the movie theater. For all the other ladies out there, both Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are very fine specimens in and of themselves, My only beef in the movie is Gambit, that tasty morsel from Friday night lights plays a decent version of the New Orleans Mutant with the exception of his accent and the hair. Gambit had this wild looking hair with the thickest creole accent you could get. For most of the X-Men series- TV show Gambit was the coolest guy out there, not as popular as wolverine or cyclops but more interesting. I am looking forward to an XMen Origins-Gambit!!! maybe this time with a little more N'olans!

There were things to like and not like about this film. Fine acting, but the story just felt a little flat. Hugh Jackman mostly gave us his angry Wolverine character, so we didn't see much of the sarcastic banter that was fun to watch in the other X-mens. Interesting back story with the brother mutant played by Liev Schreiber, who looks like he could really be Hugh's brother. The renegade Team X had some terrific abilities, but I felt they underutilized the hilarious, likeable, and totally buffed-out Ryan Reynolds. I would recommend seeing it, but I probably won't add this one to my DVD collection.

As long as you do not know Wolverine's actual past, this movie is very good.
My wife liked the story, particularly as it concerned Logan's love life and the drama associated with his family ties. I enjoyed the action and the mutant powers.
Unfortunately, the real story of James' past is so much more complicated than just 2 brothers entering every Canadian-involved war available. And so much more satisfying!
So, as long as you have not read any of the comic books or graphic novels featuring Wolverine, you will likely enjoy this movie!

Had I not seen the commercials and had just gone to the movie, then this would have been rated 5 out of 5. Commercials hyped it up too much (to get people to come), but it made me expect too much. A lot of the best parts were in the commercials.
Don't get me wrong... good flick, just hype built it up too much for me and I left the movie wanting more.

aside from the fact that other have given it so so review in newspapers, it has lived up to its hype. It is a comic book movie and that is what you pay for when you go see it. Introduction of new characters adds to the element of possible sequels. overall, a fun movie

Wolverine. I had really looked forward to this movie for a long time. When I sat down to watch it I was expecting it to be like a typical X-men movie. I was pleasently surprised when it started because it was (in my opinion) everything that I've come to know as X-men. The action was pretty amazing, the acting wasnt that bad, and the dialogue was just ok. exactly how i expected it to be. There were a few things that did bug me in the movie that caused it to fall just short of AWSOME such as the whole Boxing Ring Scene. But overall I thought that it was good. & if I had the choice, I would go see it again at a matinee.

Wolverine is so sexy!!! OK, So I've got some issues, but I'm sorry. This was the best X-men ever! When he woke up from the nightmare...OMG...I thought I was going to go insane (If I'm not already). Can't explain it! When he gets angry and those blades are exposed...Can't write any more. It will NOT be rated PG! Great movie!

What a thrill ride! I can see where someone who was not up on the X Men mythos might be a little lost, but those of us who are into all things X will have a great time at this movie. Hugh Jackman and Liev Schrieber do a great job with what at times is a hazily written movie. For the next X Men film, please have a new set of writers who can make clear to all what we fan girls already know.
