I am not a trekkie, I have never seen any of the Star Trek movies. I wasn't even planning on seeing this movie til the trailer showed up in Wolverine. Ok this movie was 10 times better than Wolverine, Sorry Hugh but Chirs Pine's charisma is much stronger than yours. His magnatism draws you to his character and pulls you into the story. Spock is played brilliantly by that guy from Heros. JJ Abrams rocks the SFX. Can't wait for the next one
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Where's Gambit's Accent??

It was big bold and loud with the type of effects that make it worth seeing in the movie theater. For all the other ladies out there, both Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are very fine specimens in and of themselves, My only beef in the movie is Gambit, that tasty morsel from Friday night lights plays a decent version of the New Orleans Mutant with the exception of his accent and the hair. Gambit had this wild looking hair with the thickest creole accent you could get. For most of the X-Men series- TV show Gambit was the coolest guy out there, not as popular as wolverine or cyclops but more interesting. I am looking forward to an XMen Origins-Gambit!!! maybe this time with a little more N'olans!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Darkest Batman Ever

Sardonic and Beautiful. This installment of the new batman series blends amazing images with the darkest reflections of the human spirit. There is no cute riddles or fancy puns by Heath Ledger's Joker, only raw anger and psychosis which draws the audience to this charasmatic persona. Christian Bale performs beautifully as batman however this movie is not about batman but about Gotham city and the struggle of Good vs Evil, with the addition of Eckhart as Harvey "Two Face" Dent the audience gets a true representaion of life in Gotham City, The city itself is its own character, the set design was immaginative and fanciful without being camp. The backdrop for a fight between bad and worse for vigilantes cause more trouble than good... Replacing Heath for the next installment will be a tall task for any director, with out the joker what would batman be????
Yes, I recommend this movie.
