There was nothing truly special about XMO : Wolverine, but there was also nothing absolutely terrible about it either. The CG was pretty bad every now and then, but the element that makes up for that was the first half of the script. There was too much story and too many characters for such a short movie. And the final villian is not really who they say he is, but that's Hollywood. They aim to do whatever they can with a character to bring more action to the movie. Bad move. Good to see once, and if you like it, maybe more. Not for me though.

What a great evening of entertainment! The professional film critics have skewered this film as lacking in "humanity" and as too slow paced at points. What can they be thinking? This movie is fast paced and enjoyable. It's action entertainment, not Anna Karenina. My companion for the evening and I enjoyed the film. It kept you on the edge of your seat, moved at a breakneck pace, and made sense in terms of future charcter development. Although the continuity of the characters from the beginning of the film until their later reappearance was a tad confusing, the average filmgoer is more than up to the task.Stay all the way through the credits to see one more piece of the plot line resolved.

I was told before I went to see this movie that it did not live up to the comics. I never read the comics so I had nothing to compare this to. My husband and I saw it and thought it was a GREAT movie! It IS different from the other X-men movies in that this takes place before mutants are common knowledge. But it fills in all of the gaps for Wolverine life. I recommend it to anyone who has read the comic and to those that just love the X-men movies.

This movie was great. Hugh Jackman was made for this role! I thought that the movie explained so much of Logans past that we all needed to know. Constant action and suspense. GREAT!!!!!!

The overall movie and storyline were fantasic; with the exception of some cheesy special effects. Also, after the credits there was bit more but not worth the stay unless you wanna just say you stayed to see it.

I went to this movie with diminished expectations, mainly due to my aversion to sequels. I was very pleasantly surprised at the story line, casting and special effects. I especially enjoyed the fight scenes which were exciting without being excessive. Overall, better than 3 but not quite as good as 1.

This movie did a very good job of filling in some of the gaps in Wolverine's life. If you read the comic books about him you might have a few problems with the movie version. Overall, a very exciting movie, with special effects that were quite good except for the helicopter scene at the end. I will add to my DVD collection when it comes out.

I thought the effects were fantastic, and the storyline was fabulous. It answered most of my questions about Wolverine's past, but there were still unanswered questions about his brother.

I think they did a great job of telling Wolverine's story. Hugh Jackman is incredible. I'm ready to see the rest of the origins or Prequel. Worth going to see.

Good but could have been great. CGI was disappointing.
Spoiler alert:
The first scenes should have been longer and given more details as this is something I've never seen covered.
In WW2 how cool would it have been to have a cameo by Captain America given how hard Marvel is going to push the Avengers?
The meteor rock is also used for Cap's shield I believe. This could also have lead to an alien angle to bring in future Avenger's movies. Wolverine also has a history with Nick Fury.
The eggs at the end ... lame. Our theatre didn't get the Deadpool ending which even then was not much from what I've heard.

I thought this movie did a great job of explaining where Wolverine orginated from. The path that brought him to the original X-Men movie. I think it left enough said and enough left alone to possibly have another one. I liked seeing characters as they were younger, to see the paths that crossed when they did was an added bonus.

I thought it was a good movie, I enjoyed the cast and the action scenes. The CG could have been better, and I wish they would have shown a little more about him as a child, and explained his parents a little bit more. To me that would be more of an "origins" type movie. But over all I thought it was good, and not as cheesy as some of the Marvel movies can be.

For the most part the movie was pretty awesome the only bad thing about it would be it was corny at some points and Dead Pool was not true character but other than that it was overall a great way to start off my summer blockbuster list

Wolverine is like all the other movies that went back to the origin. It starts out in story telling mode and is a lil slow. If you have interest in the character it won't be bad but if you looking for just action, then it may stall a bit. But once Wolverine joins the army it picks up w/some action and then when his family member (won't say who) turns on him it starts to get good. Good story line for the most part. There was a few things that could have been explained better but once the movie is rolling it's great action. The climax of the movie makes it more than worth going 2 c. The final fight scene is 1of the best I have ever seen. I'm looking forward to the next movie because there definitely be will a sequel to this one.

This is a very good movie. I would rate it just below/even with Iron Man and even/just above Spider Man Series. I enjoyed the Love/Hate relationship with the brothers, "No one is going to kill my brother....except me!" Classic line. All of the actors did an excellent job. I even liked the cameo at the end. There are a few minor points in this movie that do not jive with the first X-Men movie, but those points do not take away from this movie. We will be adding this movie to the collection when it comes out on DVD.
