Good date movie that appeals to both genders. As someone mentioned, reminded me of the Truman show especially the way it just ended. That's the real downside to this film.

Met expectations

Followed the old cartoon series closely enough that I recall and had solid action and enough of a plot to carry the action. It had a few fun twists and overall was a very enjoyable experience for those that like these types of movies. Not really a date movie or something for young kids but most should know that going in.

Missed opportunities

Good but could have been great. CGI was disappointing.
Spoiler alert:
The first scenes should have been longer and given more details as this is something I've never seen covered.
In WW2 how cool would it have been to have a cameo by Captain America given how hard Marvel is going to push the Avengers?
The meteor rock is also used for Cap's shield I believe. This could also have lead to an alien angle to bring in future Avenger's movies. Wolverine also has a history with Nick Fury.
The eggs at the end ... lame. Our theatre didn't get the Deadpool ending which even then was not much from what I've heard.
