I really enjoyed the movie. My boys did as well. I would have preferred that the foul language to be taken out, but over all we enjoyed the movie. I'm woundering if they have another one come out next summer.

This is a very solid sequel primarily due to the growth of Shia Labeouf and Megan Fax as actors. This time they rely on more than just Labeouf's endearing qualities and Fox's extraordinary beauty. While they both retain those qualities (Fox is even more stunning than in the original and at time takes you breath away), both are actually getting their acting chops, and the combination makes this a much better than average sequel.
The special effects are amazing but Michael Bay and company at times rely a bit too much on them.
I thought it was very interesting that the pain in the butt governement bureaucrat this time around was Obama's national security advisor. Not exactly politically correct for Hollywood and that is very refreshing.

Went with my daughter and we both enjoyed. It was about half an hour too long. The human parts and humor were great but the robot battles got a bit redundent. They would have been better suited building to the big climax rather then loads of huge climaxes along the way. Typical Michael Bay as far as that goes.

FANTASTIC MOVIE! It flew by in no time. Was NOT longer and louder (as some have said), it was perfect! If you're not into special effects – action movies, then you won’t like it. If you like Transformers, then BOOM! You’re going to love this movie.
This movie was made for the people who grew up watching the original cartoons in the 80s, 25-35 yrs old now. IT'S NOT A DISNEY MOVIE meant for 4 yr olds. It’s a PG-13 movie!! I'M SOOOOOO SICK OF HEARING PARENTS SAYING IT CUSSED TOO MUCH, GET A CLUE!! They have ratings for a reason!
More than the first movie, they really tied in a lot of elements from the 80s cartoon that made it feel truly like Transformers to me. Also, it keeps the human element in it, not just machines. It was Perfect!

My family and I really liked this movie. It did not feel like it was 2-1/2 hours. The effects and explosions were great. The only things I did not like were the inuendos and language. This is a family movie and little kids have looked forward to seeing it. But all in all it was a great movie. It kept you interested.

I thought the 2nd movie was better than the first. Special fx were awesome. I took my 5yr old and 3 yr old to see the movie, they loved it. I was kind of amazed with how much profanity was in the movie. Movie was great though and will get the dvd when it comes out.

Overall, the CG effects were great. More realistic than the 1st movie. However, there was a lot of silliness, inappropriate content, and profanity that could have been replaced by character dialog. For example, none of the new transformers (with the exception of the two "smart" (stupid characters) cars) actually said much in the movie. The location shots were amazing (Petra, Egypt, etc.) The first movie was more serious; this movie fell short.

I loved the movie. It's a total guy flick w/ hot chicks, nice cars, TRANSFORMERS, and the fights and all. No hot guys..... Anyhow the action was good and so was the story. The TRANSFORMERS were great!! Funny and entertaining. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is cause the begining kind of dragged....and it didn't show the autotrons very much. The sounds of when they transform wasnt in this movie either. Overall it was good and you would enjoy it!

The visuals and soundtrack in this movie are amazing! I really couldn't keep my eyes of the screen, even to find my drink. The dialog in this movie is also very humoring, and well acted. The only issue I had with this film was the fact that they couldn't keep the camera off of Sam's Girlfriend, It was almost like SHE was the star. We know the she is cute, but I mean, you don't have to show her running in slow motion every 5 seconds.

My 11 year old LOVED it. I am 37. I like it, it was good...just not that good. Instead of anything new, we just got the old story stretched out to 2.5 hours. If you can't throw in some new stuff, no need for a new movie. I am pretty sure my 16 year old son saw it only to look at Megan Fox. He was very happy with the movie.

We made it a point to go the first day it came out and we were not disappointed. The visual fx were awesome, lots of action and humor. Could have been a little shorter but length wasn't unbearable. A little bit of something for everyone. I definitely recommend!

I thought this movie was awesome. The graphics were great and I thought all of the robots looked crazy cool. I think this movie opened alot of doors to many more movies. I like how there were added robots and I loved that it had alot of the same characters from the first transformers. I am going to see this movie again in the theaters. My son who is 7 loved it and wanted to watch it again right after it was over. My daughter 5 thought it was cool and wants the dvd. We watch transformers almost every week, this will be one added to the collection. Dont listen to other people, this movie ROCKED!!!!!

My kids & I loved this movie. Very action packed and humorous. However, I felt there was much more violence, bad language and other inappropriate situations than in the first one. That stuff just isn't necessary especially when you are marketing the toys to young children.

It was awesome from start to finish. I expected it to be good, but was not ready for the action that began as soon as the movie started and sat on the edge of my seat the entire time. I also loved the twists of comedy throughout the movie. I'd pay to see it again!!

I m not a movie theater person, but I could not wait to see Tranny 2. Lots of action and kept my 9 year from leaning back to relax during the whole movie. I thought the movie jumped around a little to much to pay attention to the plot, but for 2.5 hours of pure action and Mckayla posing on the motorcycle lol ---> it was well $$$ worth it... Enjoy!!!!

This movie was the worst on all fronts. First the story is typical pearl harbor bad, thanks michael. There was at least 45 minutes of unneeded story and dialog, bad cgi, and the jokes were crude tastless jokes. Thanks for having no class michael, and just spewing this junk on the american public. Michael bay and the writters should apologize and maybe watch iron man for some pointers. The only bright lights is megan foxs' body and an appearance from rainn wilson, but it's not enough. Dont see or buy the movie.

Not only did my kids enjoy this movie, but I did as well. The only complaint about this movie I had is there was to many explicit scenes. The dogs showing advances to each other and the language of some of the characters where a little foul.

The first movie was better. The parents, especially the idiot, foul-mouthed mother, were annoying. Sad to hear the theater of tweens and younger erupt with laughter for every harsh language joke, and there's alot of them in this movie with f**K and b*tch, even motherf**cker. Wow, so unnecessary. Seems every sci-fi/thriller needs to lead us to the pyramids for story substance-that plot is so beat. A running thread with Sam rips-off Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Almost too much action in this movie. After 2 hours it was over-kill. Okay movie, won't buy the DVD this time.
