The action was great, and it's better on a big screen -- the bigger the better. Saw the first on TV, and it's hard to follow everything on a small screen. We also took our 4 year old grandson. There were a few words I wish they hadn't used. They were funny if adults heard them, but I didn't want to explain what they meant. But all in all, it was a fun movie. You didn't even need the first one, but it helped.

Purely entertaining action packed film! The special effects are mind boggling and the action sequences are as good as any movie. At times the acting isn't quite up to par, and the comedy seemed to be a bit more forced than the first go round, but if you look past that you'll simply have a great time seeing this flick!!!

This movie was funny, exciting, and great entertainment. The "material" listed for this movie was comical, and not of the offensive nature for taking my fourteen year old to view, but any younger children could possibly need some explanations from parents.
There is no boredom in this movie, and the graphics are excellent.

It was exciting! full of action and comedy. I took my three kids ages 12-5 and they were captivated the enitre time. It kept tying in the first one to make it seem like it picked up right where it left off. Great movie!

The arthouse critics panned this movie as lowbrow, which is the exact reason you should see it. This is the perfect popcorn movie for the summer. The action is non-stop almost from the beginning, and the story keeps you on the edge right up to the end. You won't even notice the 2.5 hr running time, as the action makes it fly by. Great sequel to the first one, and it truly establishes the franchise.

Clearly a movie with no redeeming characteristics. From begining to end, this movie made no sense and the humor was more childlike than anything I can recall (dogs being silly, etc.)

Loved it!! I've heard several 'professionals' talk about how the acting was "phoned in" or how there wasn't enough depth to the plot....... I beg to differ! I was engaged, moved, excited, scared, and totally entertained for 2 1/2 hours. Not once did I check to see how much longer I needed to sit there. Time flew by and it was FUN! The humor, quick lines, and parental emotion were added touches from the first movie. It's a MUST SEE if you enjoy action films!

I loved this movie, it was so intense and the fact that they kept the same actors/actresses to play Sam, Mikayla, Mom & Dad was critical. I took my 4 yr old son to see it and he enjoyed it just as much!!!

Michael Bay brings out a solid sequel to the original. While not as groundbreaking, and too full of one-liners, this movie is still worth the ticket price and I recommend it to any Transformers fan this summer.

I took my 12yo son to this yesterday. He absolutely loved the movie. I thought it was a well done and exciting sequel. The action and graphics were fantastic.
The story was well thought out and your never get bored despite the fact it was 2hr 30min. Time flew by.

I really enjoyed the movie and any woman needing to loose weight will get the motivation after looking at Megan Fox the whole time ( Iam a woman and can say she is just perfect!). But, I took my 9 year old son and had to close his eyes a few times and the language of two of the new little cars was kinda bad. But, over all I loved the movie!

Transformers or Meagan Fox,well both. I think this film could have been a stellar addition to a successful franchise but i think it muddled through the plot points and story arcs. The premise was sound but the writers ensured that the audience muddles through scene after scene of unnecessary scenes, excess innuendo, pointless story arcs like the scene on the pyramid where whats his name calls in a rail gun strike. whatever. The endless GC battles were pretty great. The endless walk through the dessert was not. this would be a great movie to have alternate endings beginnings and hings left on the editing room floor. It is still worth seeing. The movie theater at the Hoffman had the AC off for at least half the movie.
