I really enjoyed this movie. It was action packed the whole time, I couldn't wait to see what was gonna happen next! I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves Transformers! There is some swearing and adult content, but it IS rated PG-13, so all you parents complaining about these scene in the movie, you were notified, but if you were too oblivious to notice the movie rating, that's your own fault for taking anyone under 13 to see it! Especially after in the first one it does a full up and down shot on Megan Fox's body, come on now!

The plot was weaker than in the first movie, the editor fell asleep on the job and left a lot of scenes that could easily have been cut, the action was great, the movie was WAY too long. I'm glad I saw it, but I would have liked it a lot more at 1 hour 45 minutes than I did at 2.5 hrs.

Don't care what the critics said about this latest installment of Transformers, it accomplished exactly what it was made to do....entertain! While there is going to be some character development, the main reason these movies are created is to be LOUD, ACTION, and SPECIAL EFFECTS behemouths and this one did not dissapoint!

The movie was good. Had a little too much comedy for what should be a serious action movie. It was hardly offensive to a laid back, open minded person, but if you're uptight you might get offended, and in that case you should just give up on watching any movies. There was a lot of action sequences, sometimes hard to follow with the camera angles and all the moving parts, but it puts you right in the middle of every fight, and came together to be pretty epic. This one focuses more on the transformers themselves than the first one, which is good since the movie is based specifically on them. Also there were a lot of new transformers to see, and most of them were crazy cool. Its long, as expected, but its a movie to see this summer.

My kids (12 +6) loved this movie. More than the 1st one. I preferred the 1st one. Twins are too silly and not needed. Why add all these unnecessary new autobots? Why push Ironhide, Bumblebee, etc. to background? Kept waiting to see more of our ultimate hero's but it seemed twins were always there instead. Other than that, and the language being a little too offensive this time around for kids, it was a great movie, and well worth seeing the first showing on the 24th. Planning to buy it. Note to movie makers: when you make the 3rd one, please include more of our Autobots we grew to love in the first movie, no need to add all these extra silly ones. ( I do have to say the old timer autobot was awesome! Excellent Deceptecons too!)

its was a good movie with action from beginning to end. only thing i didn't like was the comedy that they threw in at times that was unneccesary and had no point but to drag and make the movie even longer.

If not for the slight numbing I never would have noticed the movie was 2 1/2 hours long! The entire thing was action packed. It was funny and sad all at the same time. Best movie I've seen in a while. I think I need to see it again!

I enjoyed the movie from start to finish. It was action packed and funny. Kept you on the edge of your seat and I love those type of movies. The visual efforts are of course amazing I love the transformation scenes. I'm not a big computer person but find those scenes incredible. I will probably see it again, as I did the first.

The first Transformers was so amazing you'd think they'd at least try to make the second one decent. The only reason I gave it a 3 is for the good action sequences and Megan Fox (not for her acting). On the other hand, there were simply too many cheesy lines, the love story wasn't believable, and many of the scenes relied on Shia to pull off scenes that were corney and quite frankly lame. And how does Rainn Wilson get a top billing in this movie? He was in the movie for maybe 10 minutes. He added NOTHING to the movie and yet he gets a "Starring" billing? Still, you have to see this one in the theatres if you loved the first one. Doing so will at least curb your curiosity and will allow you to form your own opinion.

Had a lot of action pretty much all the time. Did see a lot of younger children in the theater and I "boo" the parents for taking them. This had way too much language and adult situations, scenes in it for anyone under the teens. Bad choice parents. Was somewhat enjoyable but not a move that I will go out and get the DVD to have at home to watch again. Once was enough.

I loved the first movie. And after 24 hours of thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion that the film makers decided that the Transformers themselves, the Autobots, were supporting cast. The "Twins" were offensive and not needed. (When one movie critic called them the Jar Jar Bots, it fits.) The gross out factor was way higher than it needed to be. Essentially everything that made the first movie so great was pushed back so that we could be grossed out, deafened and assaulted with numerous action sequences. I'm not going into the fact that someone's political views were made clear. I'm going to say that this was a horrible, LONG movie and they have ruined something that had potential

This movie was exactly what I expected. I knew beforehand there was a scene that would be hard for my 5 year old boy to watch. (Sam gets captured by the Decepticons) Other than that, good, action summer blockbuster movie.
I thought the story was good with tremendous special effects.The jokes were funny, stuff for the youngsters and well as adults.
My only complaint , a bit long, especially for kids. They could easily cut 30 minutes and the movie would be just as good. Kids only care about the Transformer scenes anyhow, well and probably some adults too.
The movie is exactly what it advertises to be, no more, no less! If that's what you are looking for, then you will enjoy it!

MY FIRST REVIEW. I THINK IT WAS OK...THE MAIN CHARACTERS SEEMED TO HAVE REGRESSED MORE THAN MATURED AFTER MEETING AN ALIEN RACE IN THE FIRST SHOW. THEIR ROLE WAS VERY APATHETIC AND IT MORE OR LESS MADE ME FEEL LIKE THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO EVEN HAVE THE ROBOTS CARE ABOUT THEM.
THE ACTION WAS PRETTY GOOD, THE STORYLINE WAS KIND OF UNBELIEVABLE, SINCE I THINK WE WOULD HAVE HEARD OF SOMETHING IN THE LAST MOVIE RELATING TO THE PAST.
THE TWO TWIN ROBOTS WERE TOOOOOO STUPID AND HAD NO PLACE IN THE MOVIE AND I THINK THE MOTHER TOOK AWAY FROM THE MOVIE.
I THINK WE COULD HAVE SEEN A LITTLE MORE SERIOUSNESS AND CHARACTER MATURING THAN TRYING TO MAKE IT SO FUNNY ALL THE TIME. GREAT GRAPHICS! BUT LACKING IN SUBSTANCE AND PLOT. THANKS

Fight scenes had far too many quickly moving, unfocused shots. You couldn't hardly see what was occuring. We all looked at each other and said, "Anyone see what happened?" Perhaps technical limitations caused this. I was in a packed theater that contained many children. The adult humor, language and adult theme surprised us...a bit too much for this movie. I know Transformers is big with kids, but seriously think about letting those under the teen years watch it.

Having seen the originial, I honestly wasn't expecting much and I was right. While the special effects and action sequences were decent, many of the Transformers abilities were lifted from other places. Can you say Metal Gear Solid?
The story was hokey and the acting was mediocre. Perhaps if the actors had decent dialogue to deliver they might have stepped up to the plate and turned in an actual performance. Since the characters were one dimensional, I never felt vested in their journey, so I didn't care if they lived or died.

No director cranks out more volume and eye candy than Michael Bay. 'Fallen' won't disappoint except in ways unexpected: a T&A matinee of pin-up poses of Megan Fox, excitable dogs AND a kinky robot, loathesome autobot sterotypes, and stolen plot devices from better films (homage, or accident-not sure), stilted acting, hackneyed dialogue buried by over-the-top clingclangslamblam sound effects, and whambam transforming special effects blur into Jackson Pollock slapping superb CGI onto the screen. Dead civilians? Who cares? Don't kill a soldier or scratch a car. Yes, do see this in a theatre. This won't translate well to small screens. Unzip your head, remove your brain, and don't think about it. That's what makes this a perfect summer movie.

But isn't that how all sequels go? It was good, no doubt about it but no personalities for the bots this go round. Lots of action, funny, got to love the mom when she goes to the college and eats a brownie. LOL, that was funny - just expecting a little more with this one, but it was action packed.

Transformers could stand alone on its message (Optimus Prime: loyalty, teamwork, sacrifice, etc) and of course the special effects are great!
For some reason, the movie stoops to shots of butts, bouncing breasts, dogs humping, and language that adds NOTHING to the movie.
I hope they consider this for Transformers3.

One of the best. It even topped it's predecesor. Another example of the sequel being better than the original.
However, there was one small problem and that was, that the action was too much "rapid fire". At times, I couldn't see all what was happening and that, to me, was not a good thing. Looking at a scene and seeing two or three things going on at the same time and trying to catch all of it was a problem during several parts of the movie. Other than that, Dreamwork and Michael Bay outdid themselves.
