The plot was weaker than in the first movie, the editor fell asleep on the job and left a lot of scenes that could easily have been cut, the action was great, the movie was WAY too long. I'm glad I saw it, but I would have liked it a lot more at 1 hour 45 minutes than I did at 2.5 hrs.
I liked this movie and recommend it, but it will appeal to a very narrow audience. I agree with some of the other commentators who said children are not part of the target audience. A mother and child walked out when I saw it. I'm guessing a lot of adults would consider this movie pointless and bizarre and that would be a valid viewpoint. But if you are willing to just go watch a movie where someone's imagination went totally wild on film, you will like this movie.
