I know some felt that the movie slowed down but it needed to. The loose ends needed to be tied up and they had to give each its own time. It was a good movie. There were some things that were left out that I would have liked to see but they couldn't put everything in so all in all it was satisfying.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I loved the first movie. And after 24 hours of thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion that the film makers decided that the Transformers themselves, the Autobots, were supporting cast. The "Twins" were offensive and not needed. (When one movie critic called them the Jar Jar Bots, it fits.) The gross out factor was way higher than it needed to be. Essentially everything that made the first movie so great was pushed back so that we could be grossed out, deafened and assaulted with numerous action sequences. I'm not going into the fact that someone's political views were made clear. I'm going to say that this was a horrible, LONG movie and they have ruined something that had potential
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I can't say I'm a hardcore Trekkie, I've only watched a few of the shows and not all of the movies, but I LOVED this movie. It made sense in its way, the casting was fabulous, I literally felt like I was on the ship amid all the action. This is the kind of movie that I like to go to, the kind of movie I'm willing to pay full price for and the kind of movie that I will buy on DVD as soon as it comes out. But before then, I may have to go see it again in the theaters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
