We celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday by taking 7 friends to see this movie and it was the best idea we ever had. The dogs were amazing and the kids were believable. Despite some of the dog contraptions being a little far-fetched, the movie was truly movie entertainment at its best!

It was great to be able to take my 8 & 10 yr olds to a movie without unexpected foul language or sexual theme. We ALL enjoyed it . It was very entertaining. Today, the most successful childrens' movies provide humor for the entire audience. In the case of Hotel For Dogs this is pretty much a kid-only picture. I found myself bored and wondering if this was "too juvenile" for my son (9). Granted, it's an good family friendly choice.
While the theater was filled with the occasional gut-busting laughter from the smallest of kids and "ohhs & ahhs" from yet another pound puppy cutaway doing something "cute or silly" I found it shallow and overly predictable. Lisa Kudrow & Kevin Dillon were brought in for comic relief and for a 6 year old I'm sure they did a fine job.
Overall ... glad we went but would be very selective on who I'd recommend this movie to.

This is a feel good movie. My boyfriend and I took my Mother to a movie of her choice. This was her choice and it was very good choice. I know that I was teary eyed, as was my boyfriend and Mom. I actually think there were lots of tears and cheers through out the theater. It was a TRULY FANTASTIC movie.
