Fast paced and surprising

High energy, a bit bloody for my personal tastes but it was well balanced against the love story sub-plot. Seemed a bit choppy at times, as if there should have been more regarding certain sections of the storyline that were cut to keep the movie within a certain time frame. Can't wait to see if there is extensive addtional scenes in the director's cut upon DVD release. Definitely one for the big screen.

Wonderful Family Movie

My 12 yr old son and I both loved this film. The story line is great, the kids are charming but the dogs steal a few scenes because of their innate ability to be adorable. Now my son wants a dog, or four!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
