I would definitely recommend it to any one who liked the first 3 Shrek movies. I think 3D would probably be better than 2D. My 6 and 3 year olds loved it actually thinking things were coming out at them.

Wow! the fourth time at bat and they still keep hitting home runs. This movie was funtastic, familyrific and just plain fun. For an old sentimentalist like me it was just great. See it, see it see it. The 3D was great too!

Our family really enjoyed the movie. Both our 10 and 4 year old thought it was funny. We thought the moral of the story was a good one. It was also nice to see the characters playing different roles (switchin' it up really kept it interesting.)

I am a big fan of Shrek, but when I saw this movie today I have to admit I was highly disappointed. The plot seemed way too simple in the fact that there were a couple battles then it was over. Rumplestillskin was a good addition because he brought the little humor there was in this movie. Also the little kid at the birthday party and Ryan Seacrest was great! If it's a Shrek movie it needs to have more humor than that though. I was also sad that Artie didn't return. He was my favorite character and he wasn't even in the credits (that's the only place I saw the princesses). I was also disappointed in the 3D. I previously saw How to Train your Dragon and was amazed by the 3D, but when I saw Shrek, the 3D wasn't as good which was weird considering the fact that they were both made by Dreamworks (my favorite movie company). I expect more from Dreamworks and hope the 2011 Puss in Boots movie is an improvement from this one. Kudos to Ryan Seacrest and the guy who played Rumplestillskin. Ok movie, kinda sad Shrek's movies have to end with a bit of a flop.

We saw this movie in 3D and weren't impressed with the 3D presentation. However, the movie itself was cute. It was a definite departure from the previous three and was much darker, but still a good flick. I was a little disappointed that we never got to meet Shrek's parents in any of the movies, but I loved the ending of this movie and would definitely recommend it.

Shrek certainly delivered on this one. So far the best of all, new characters, a great story, excellent use of 3D, the whole production was a great send off for what was arguably the best movie series of all time. Anyone not sure if they want to pay to go see this in 3D, it IS worth it!

It was great. Still not as good as the first but a relief after #2 and #3. Well worth seeing if you like Shrek and his friends.

I thought this movie was fun for the kids, and my husband and I laughed as well. It is not near as wonderful as the first two, but we couldn't miss the final Shrek story! I recommend it...it's cute, and has a great message.

I agree with one of the other reviews. My kids thought the movie was good. We didnt laugh as hard as we did for 1 and 2. Adults may not find it as humorous. There are only so many times that you can twist a plot before it becomes generally the same old story line. I will say that the movie picked up once supportiing characters were reintroduced into the script. Overall, it was good to see how this trilogy concluded... maybe thats one of the best reasons why i would recommend it as well. Just to see the final chapter.
