Even though the ending was predictable, the movie was hilarious! I am definitely seeing this movie again and I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys a good laugh. This movie had good reviews and I like romantic comedies. This movie did not disappoint but there were some problems with transition. This couple met in Vegas, got married while drunk, then proceeded to live together under court order. They put a lot of energy into hating each other then eventually fall in love. The direction failed to make a seamless transition from one state to the other. Still it was worth the trip to the theater.

I thought it was funny throughout the whole thing. There weren't really any slow parts so the whole thing held my attention. Of course, since Ashton's character and his friend are supposed to be stupid, the dialog isn't great but it had to be that way.

Titles can sometimes be misleading. This is the classic example. Maybe 15 minutes of the movie takes place in Vegas. There are so many possibilities for visual wows and comedy at the expense of the 25-35 yr olds that go to Vegas these days. We see about 2 minutes of high jinx and 10 minutes of big plot point of the winning slot spin. Then it's back to New York and one hour of Ashton Kutcher's apartment. If you want to make a great comedy in Vegas give us more Sin City. At least a flying Elvis or a poker game with Jerry Tarkanian. There's ten times more action on Wall St. than the Vegas strip in this movie. On the plus side, Kutcher and Diaz have great chemistry. I would like to see more of them in really good movies.

I liked it, cool romcom, and basically I love Las Vegas and NY so the scenes were cool. Also, Cameron and her Asian-American rival for the Stock exchange job are portrayed a bit stereotypically, but they basically are two women going to the big job, I liked that aspect, although the rival wasn't very smart and her husband is a total nerf-herder. Actually, I was surprised and kind of pleased that Ashton was so good in his role, that was pretty interesting. He's "growing up" as an actor, and it's good to watch.
