The movie was great, but unfortunately, it needed one of those scrolling text for info missing. The book describes the deathly hallows much better and links them. There's a lot more "research" in Godric's Hollow. But the sequences and action was wonderful, and I can't wait for the next (and sadly last) one to come out in June.
Some funny parts, good animation, actually I liked the concept, but it was caught between adult and children's audience. Would have been far better as an adult animated comedy. Many of the scenes played on a character's attractions, and others dealt as if funny with "being evil." Missed the mark on that one.
Wow, oldies are really goodies! Gere and Lane are great together, although the trailer leads you to believe it's something completely different than the actual ending (no spoilers, got to see it to live through it). I definitely enjoyed the movie, and thought the whole thing was great.
Good rendition, and the acting is pretty good (all the cast seemed up to the task), but compared to seeing this on stage, these folks are OLD, and the staging is sometimes pretty kitchy, and frankly, fake stars in the sky don't cut it for me. However, it was fun, Bernie Anderson appears in a cameo which was fun, and overall, a good rendition.
It was exactly what the doctor orderd, a lovely mix of the hold and the new. Indy was great, the kid was also great, and everyone was up to par. Loved cate blanchett, one of the greatest.
Well done, a bit more drama because this was a movie, not a 30-minute show. The girls looked fabulous, if a bit longer in the tooth, and St Louise was great. Overall, would see again.
I liked it, cool romcom, and basically I love Las Vegas and NY so the scenes were cool. Also, Cameron and her Asian-American rival for the Stock exchange job are portrayed a bit stereotypically, but they basically are two women going to the big job, I liked that aspect, although the rival wasn't very smart and her husband is a total nerf-herder. Actually, I was surprised and kind of pleased that Ashton was so good in his role, that was pretty interesting. He's "growing up" as an actor, and it's good to watch.
Not quite as magical as the previous one, but a very good story, and the kids were up to the acting task. Loved Price Caspian's hair, and actually felt the bad guys were bad enough, and the good guys flawed enough to be believable. Special effects were geat, New Zealand rides again, was great in LOTR, now in Caspian. Fight scenes were also pretty good, and the Ice Queen is great! All in all, a good value for the $$, and will probably see once more just to be sure I caught everything.
